    Sister's new bestFriend.
    chapter two
"Don't worry, we wont kidnap you." I said jokingly, her smiling.
The ride was pretty silent the rest of the way, "Right here please." I stopped unlocking all of the doors. "You need help carrying those shoes?" I heard someone ask, walking out the front door. "Josh!" She yelled running and hugging him. "I'll text you Kyleigh." she said to my sister, and I waved, driving off. "What's up with you?" My sister said facing me. "Nothing, put on your seatbelt." We both laughed. My sister knew what was going on, and I knew she did.
"That wasn't her boyfriend." I chuckled. "What are you talking about?" She smiled, rolling her big blue eyes. "Josh, he's not her boyfriend." My face lit up, and I felt my face get warmer.
"You do like her!" My sister squeeled. "Aweh, Ryan! Your first crush!" She was right.
I've had one girlfriend before, but she wasn't my crush. I liked her best friend, but she had a boyfriend already, little did I know, he was a cover up.
Pulling up to the house I smiled looking toward my sister. "You go to bed, okay?"
"But Ryan I can't make you clean up his mess all by yourself." I smiled, "Get off to bed little one." She laughed, runnung up into our house. "Here we go..." I sighed.
I walk in, to our father laying on the couch, passed out. Bottle, cans, just about anything you can fit alcohol in, was around. I grabbed a few bag, and started filling them.
"Ryan..." I heard him say under his breath, I jumped, startled. "Yes?"
He did somehting he hasn't done in a while, got up, and hugged me.
"Ryan, I miss your mom." He said, grinning. "She used to clean up after me."
I didn't know what was going on, but I knew what was going to happen in a few minutes.
"She did a much better job than this. You are a terrible son." And just like that, My body flinched, and I felt the impact on my chest, face, and stomach. I didn't care how much I was being hurt, all I could do was yell up to my sister. "LOCK THE DOOR Kyleigh!"
Needless to say, I blacked out. I woke up in my bed, my fater gone, and my sister coming in to my room. "Ryan...I called Uncle Larry." I shot up out of bed, holding back the pain as much as I could. "You know you shouldn't do that. He's going to do this to you next!" She handed me a warm, moist rag. "Ryan, we're going there for a year." I wanted to be happy, I wanted out of here, but I din't want to go there. Three hours away. "Kyleigh, I love you but..." She cut me off. "Pack up, we need to be gone before Dad comes back."
I started to pack up my clothes, shampoo, body wash, and just about anythjing that was smaller than a TV. I instantly smiled, thinking about the mall trip yester, and frowing soon after, knowing I wouldn't see her for a year.
    "I hate this trip already."

    Sister's new bestFriend.
"Ryan, get up." My sister yelled, throwing a towel at me. "Take a shower we're going to the mall today." I got up, rubbing my eyes.
"Why do I have to go?" She smirked, which only meant one thing. I was driving.
"Ugh, okay, I'll be ready in a half hour." I hopped in the shower, the water felt nice on my back. "Where's the hair dryer?" I yelled out to her, after getting dressed.
She ran in in to me. Our mornings were boring, I must admit that.
My natural brown hair was swooshed, and well, I looked like I hadn't slept for a week.
I had on my normal, "out for the day" clothes. Blue jeans, a tee, and my blue converse.
"Hurry! I'm going to be late!" My sisgter yelled as I struggle to get every last drop of gas into the tank. The ride there was dreadful, she makes me listen to her little boy band songs, and I am pretty sure it's killing me.
"I can't wait for this sale!" I stepped on my brakes, and lookjed at her. "I got up, and dressed, for a sale?!" My sister couldn't have smiled any bigger. "Shoes Ryan, shoes." I parked the car and walked with her inside, taking out my wallet. "I'm getting something to eat, meet me in the food court, and I'll have your food." She hugged me. "I love you, big brother."
My sister and I weren't always close, but the loss of our favorite person in the world, brought us together about three years ago. Our grandmother raised us.
She passed from a car accident, stupid drunk driver. I miss her so much, she was a lot more pleasant than our dead beat of a father, and now we live with him.
"I would like, two medium orders of the Chicken and broccoli alfredo?" They handed me my tray, and 7 dollars later, we had our lunch. I sat at the table, looking around for my sister, and at first I didn't see her, I was too busy starting at the gorgeous girl she was walking with.
"Hello! Ryan? I asked if it'd be okay if she can sit with us?"
I nodded. "Of course." I said, almost knocking over the tray. "You have any food?"
She replied. "No, I don't have enough, I spent the money I had on these gorgeous shoes."
I couldn't help but smile at her, handing her 10 dollars. "Buy yourself a meal."
She chirped. "Really? Oh thank you!" she ran off to get a sub. My sister looked at me.
"Ryan...You feeling okay? You never give up your money to anyone." I smiled.
"It's just food." I started to gobble down the rest of my meal.
The next hour, they were talking all girly and stuff. "Well ladies, I'm going in the car, when you're done I'm ready to leave whenever."
My sister waved me away and I groaned. "If you aren't out in a half hour, I am leaving you here."
The other girl giggled, and waved. "See you later."
I smiled, walking to my car, letting out a deep breath.
"She's the most beautiful thing I've seen."

    [On My Own]
Already lreached my new place, tonight would not be a fun night. "Mom. Please tell me you're already done." My brothers and mom left, smiling. "Now time for work."
I walked into my big, freshly smelling bedroom to get my uniform on.
"Here I go..." I said sighing, walking out the door with my loose fit working shirt on.
"Hey!" I heard in the distance. Could they be talking to me? Not a chance.
The footsteps got closer, and I made it clear that I was ignoring, by speeding up.
"Frailey, right?" I felt fingers touch my shoulder. "Yeah?" I turn around seeing the guy I've seen.
"Oh hi, Whats up?" He laughed and pointed toward the way I was walking. "Going to work, also."
The rest of the walk there was pretty silent. "Have fun with the cooking." I said, and stuck my tongue out. "Don't drop the food I make." I laughed and signed into the working sheet.
I was extremely distracted, all I could think of as Phillip. "Miss, I'm ready to order!" I ran over to the table. "I'm sorry, what can I get you?" They all spat their order at me quickly, and a tad rude.
"Don't mess up their food, or it's my as*." I said dropping the order off at the cooking station.
"Frailey!" I frowned knowing exactly who it was. "Hi Mr. Clark." He help his hand out.
I shook, and listened as he yelled at me for making customers unsatisfied.
The rest or work was a bit boring, and well..normal.
"Catch you later." I said to my co-worker, Joanne. She smiled.
"WAIT!" I heard as the cook brought me a peice of paper. "Text me sometime."
I laughed. Who did he think he was, Jesus? I wasn't just magically text him. I didn't even know his name. "He kind of looks like a Greg." I laughed at my thoughts.
"Welcome home Frailey." I said to myself walking into my door. It was Midnight.
I closed my eyes and my dreams brought me back to a day I was happy.
"Oh Fraiii. Come on! Lets try on some clothes." I pulled away and laughed. "NO!"
Plillip and I went to the icecream shop that day.
"I love this flavor!!!" We said, tasting every sample. Those were the days.
The days with Phillip, and they'll never happen again.
Everything went dark after a while and I heard my phone alarm going off.
I'm going to dread the day ahead.

The pasty drug on for a few more hours, not fast enough though. I just wanted to open this envelope.
"Thanks for coming everyone." I heard the door shut, and I ran up the stairs.
"You ready to leave yet Frailey?" I told my mother to wait a while.
"Okay Phil, No games." I said looking over at the picture on my mirror.
"Here I go." I opened it. There were two letters, and something wrapped in a napkin.
    The first letter..
    "Dear Frailey.
This isn't the first letter I wrote, swear. I just don't know what to write. Ever since I came here, I try and think of something to ease the pain. The lonliness, and the scenery around me.
The people here are so sad, and they are all living in horrid conditions, and you know what I think about when things get me down around here? I think of you. And before yu think I'm getting all mushey, I just want you to know something. You're really beautiful. Not everyone can see it, and it's a shame because you're just a beautiful person, in and out. There's something I've always wanted to tell you, and I plan on teling you when I see you next. I hope things are going good. Just think, in a year, you'll be 18, and be able to get out of there, and do what you always wanted. Heck, who knows. If I get out of here alive, Maybe I'll come live with you...Yeah, I know it's not funny. I know you dislike reading, so I'm going to shorten this now.
Please never change, You're perfect the way you are.- Phillip"
I felt myself smile with tear-filled eyes, as I open the next letter. It was much messier than the other, it didn't even look like his writing.
    "Dear Frailey,
I don't have much time. Trev's writing what I say. There, was an accident. Hoping you read that other letter before this, I'm sorry for not sending it out, but you'll figure out why. Doctors say I wont make it through the night, and thoughts of you, are making staying awake so much more worth it. The pain in my arms, and my stomach aren't even cloe to the pain in my heart. I'll never be able to see you again. And that? It kills me more than these bullets inside me. Like I said before, I truly see how beautiful you ar, don't listen to others, don't let people judge you on anything they know nothing about. I just want you to be happy alright? Wait, I'm skipping around too much. Please just don't let me being gone hurt you too much, I want you to be happy. You do deserve it after all. I wish I was coming home with Trev here, so I could see you one last time. Happy birthday Frailey, and I mean that. Happy, alright?- Phillip.
PS. Open the napkin." By now my tears were pouring out of my eyes, and I reached down.
I looked over at the picture on my mirror again.
"If this is one of those bullets Phil, I swear, when I die, I'll hunt you down."
I opened the napkin and I stopped crying. I stopped everything as I read the words written.
"I've always loved you." And a promise ring fell on the floor. I picked it up, and read the engravement on the inside.
    "Promise you'll be happy?-Phillip."

    [On My Own]
The next few days were horrible. All I could manage to do is get out of bed and shower.
Today was my 18th birthday, the day I would move out, and I wasn't even excited.
I had a night shift at The Shack. I drug myself out of bed, and took a shower.
I wiped away the steam from the mirror. "Oh lovely." I looked at myself.
"Happy Birthday Frailey." I sighed, going back into my room, looking in my closet.
"Come down when you're ready." I heard my brother say, walking down the hallway.
I picked a pair of my pants, they were checkered, black and blue.
I also put on my blue under tanktop, and a black sweater.
I left my bangs straight, but curled the bottom half of my hair, it was long.
My hair was blonde, naturally. But my bangs were a different color mostly, for now, blue.
I walked downstairs with a fake smile on my face. "You look better, much better, actually."
I smiled at my mother, and sat down at the table. "So, what's for lunch?"
I looked around, at everyone staring at me. "What? I'm hungry."
My brother laughed. The first time I seen him smile since.. the day he left.
    -FLASHBACK-
"You going to be alright?" I nudged my face into Phil's chest, voice soft. "I'll miss you, that's all."
I walked over to my big brother Trev, and hugged him. "I'll write to you." he said.
"Oh Trev... I'll write you all the time!" He smiled as he walked away.
    -now-
I looked down after we all had finished our food. "Any plans today, Frailey?" I nodded.
"Just going to the apartment, why?" They all looked at me. "Uhm, Sis. The party?"
I looked at my sister, her hair was a light brown, tanned skin. "Yeah, I'll be here for that."
My sister coughed. "It's like, starting in like, a half hour." I jumped up and ran upstairs.
"I need to get ready!" I was really going to get my sister's present.
I looked in the mirror and sighed. There was a picture of me and Phil, the day of his prom.
I touched it, and smiled. "I'm finally eighteen Phil. I just wish you were here for this."
All I could think of is the smart remark he would throw at me, just to make me laugh.
He'd smile and look at me, "So, you're legal now. Lets go on a moonlit walk."
I walked over, grabbed the necklace I bought mysister, and walked down the stairs, putting in on the table next to her. She loved it. Most everyone was there.
My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
My sister's friends showed up, soon after and mine, well. They had something planned for me later, they don't like my sister's friends much.
"Hi Peanut!" My grandfather hugged me. "Hi wally wally walnut!" He smiled. I used to call him that when I was about ten. "I'm so proud of you." Everyone said they were, to both me and my sister. Everyone was so glad tosee Trev back, he's been gone for so long.
The table was full of presents. My sister mainly just recieved money, and giftcards.
I got a mixture of money, and home appliances, and some things from my family.
My mom gave me a beautiful bracelt, my dad, a scarf. My brother Danny gave me a skateboard, and Trev? He gave me two things. A picture frame, and an evvelope, and I looked down at it.
It read "Open me when you're alone. -Phillip"

"How does this always happen to you?" My friend Andrew asked, as I Tripped over my own shoe laces.
I laughed along with him and kept on going. They're always late. ALWAYS.
I looked around, hoping to see our other friends, but they never showed up.
"Let's just go to the park, Luke's probably scaring children again." I smiled, and shoved him.
The park wasn't very far from there, so we walked slowly. "You excited?" I nodded. "I cant wait, Andrew, you know I've always wanted this." He nodded, and laughed. "There they are."
And there were our friends, all sprawled about on the feild. Luke, Sarah, Jared, and Kara.
"Hi!" They all screamed, not even moving. "Lazy bums!" I laughed, laying back.
"Who's got the money?" They asked, then all bursting out laughing and smiling at me.
I always paid for our food, I was the only one with money all the time.
"I'll be back." I got up, and got each of us a drink, and food.
"You always know what to get us!" Said Luke, face full of burritos.
We talked, and talked, until it was time for me to get home. "Dad?"
I walked into the livingroom and smiled to see my Father and mother watching a movie together, like they always do. "I'm going to my room." They nodded, and went back to their movie.
"Danny!" I yelled, tripping on my brother's sweater. "Sorry!" He yelled back.
The rest of the night, I sat there, planning my life on my own, it seemed perfect.
    ---
The next few days I went to stores, looking for something for my sister, Jess.
"A necklace?" I heard from behind me, a new voice. "It's for my sister." I snapped, turning.
"It's all good miss, I was just curious. Why a necklace though?" I smiled.
"It's her birthday, well, our borthday, and she's wanted this for a year now.
He smiles at me, and it made me smile in return. "What was your name again?" He asked.
"It's Frailey, and I never said it." He sighed. "We met about 4 days ago."
I looked around. "Really? Where?" And I tried remembering what I had done four days before.
"At the shack?" The shack was where everyone ate their food, and hung around. "Yes!"
I laughed. "You're the chef there, right?" He looked down. "I cook, but I'm not the chef, just a chef.
We talked for a bit, and then, all of a sudden. "PICK UP THE PHOOOOONE FRAILEY!"
My ringtone. "Sorry, Just a minute. "Yes?" My brother was on the other end.
"Come home now, Trev's home!" I smiled, and quickly paid my necklace, and ran off. "I'll see you another time!" I yelled to him.
"Trev?!" I ran in excitedly, looking around at everyone, with tears in their eyes. "What?"
"Sweetie..." I looked at my big brother Trevor, whom had just come home from the army.
"You alright big bro?" He shook his head. "Afraid not." I looked around, tears flowing from everyone in the room. "It's Phil.." I could feel the tears sweltering in my eyes. "What happened to him?"
They all looked at me, and then an urn that lay on the coffee table.
I could feel myself begin to pour tears, and throat closing up.
My brother's best friend had passed. My brother's best friend, who just so happened to be mine as well. His family were all gone, we took him in a few years back, he left with my brother, promising me he'd return with him, and come home to me. I secretly loved him.
Everyone knew, everyone besides him, and now he never would.

    Prologue [On My Own]
Almost 18, just about every teenager's dream. Becoming an adult, it's exciting to think about, especially if you plan on moving out. My name is Frailey Winchester, and my birthday is in 7 days.
My parents aren't separated, nor are they gone. They just annoy me.
I have two brothers, and one sister, a twin sister to be exact, We look nothing alike.
She's planning on moving in with her friends, all roomates, but me?
I want to live alone. I want my own place, I want to start off with some responsibility.
My father and I went looking for apartments yesterday, and I found the perfect one.
It's two stories high, and a one bedroom. It's pretty big for an apartment. The bathroom is huge, with a bathtub you can basically just swim in. The bedroom was a decent size, We moved my bed in bu the windows, and my dresser near the closet. I didn't have much, but I planned on getting more.
The kitchen was big enough to be my dining room and kitchen all in one. The livingroom had my Television, on the wall, and the couch I had, three seated. I didn't know exactly what i was going to use the dining room room for yet, But I was thinking about making it the computer room.
The basement wasn't too big, just big enough for my washing, and drying machines. The attic would be for storage purposes.
I was just getting off of work, and meeting my friends afterwards, to have a mini get together.
This wasn't just me becoming an adult, this was me, starting my life.

    Chapter Sixteen
It's been atleast 3 weeks since that day, and I'm just sitting on the balcony of Isobelle's house.
Thinking about David, wishing I had begged him to stay all that time ago.
    -flashback-
"Did you hear that?" I shrugged. "I guess so, yeah."
He pulled me into a hug. "I have to go back for a while." I sighed. "Lexus, come with me."
I shook my head. "David I can't. My life is here." He looked at me, a bit angry.
"Really? You're just gonna let me leave?" I extended my arms, starting defending myself.
"It's not like I asked for this, you think I want this? We just started dating, and you're leaving, not me. So don't blame me for 'letting you go' when you're the one who is leaving."
He just shut the door after handing me the kitten, Sabby. "Really?!" I walked to Isobelle's.
"What's wrong?!" She asked as I stormed into her room. "Nothing."
Two hours later, I got a text from David. "I'm going....I still want to be with you Lexus."
I just replied, 'I know, I do too. I'm sorry." He instantly walked into Isobelle's room.
"Layla let me in." I looked into his eyes. "I'm going to miss you."
He looked back into mine kissing me, and after a few seconds, pulling away.
"I'll be back.. Wait for me please. I love you."
I hugged him, whispering in his ear. "I love you too.." And he was gone.
    -Present-
I tried to call him everyday, but he was almost always at a party, I couldn't hear him.
Skype wouldn't work, because Isobelle was always on it talkign to Layla.
So texting was our only option, and it wasn't going good.
"Lexus, we're going to the beach." I waved. "Have fun." She pulled me up by the wrist.
"No, you're coming with us." I groaned. "I don't want to go."
They practically had to drag me into the room and change me themselves.
The ride to the beach was dreadful. I looked out the window, and thought about David more.
"Lexus, really? Atleast act happy!" I tried a fake smile.
Kevin called my phone instantly. "Lexus, where are you guys?" I replied. "Almsot there."
    He suddenly started acting weird.
We walked around for an hour looking for him. "There he is!" I jolted back.
"Kevin!!" I yelled, and he turned and started beaming. "You guys made it!"
We all ran toward the water excited, even me.
"You're so dead!"I said holding him tightly. under the water after splashing me.
"But Lexus I don't want to die!" He whined.
" I couldn't even do anything until you all got here!."
We all laughed, splashing around in the water. I for a little while even forgot I was sad.
"Come on guys, kiss later!" Kevin and I yelled at Layla and Isobelle, and started swimming.
I swam farther than anyone else, and it made me feel like the 'nemo that touched the butt.'
I pretended to drown, you know, your average swimming actions.
And everything was fine until I got out of water. "That chick has some junk!" Some guy pointed, yelling. Everyone started laughing, and I looked down, noticing how clingy these shorts were. I tried to run, but then got shoved into the sand, face first.
I didn't understand how people could be so cruel. "Stop." I said.
"Why?" They pinned me down. "You're banned from the beach." I huffed.
"Don't touch her." I heard someone demand behind me. "Her? Her? Dude, she's a dude!"
He stepped forward. "Don't. Touch. Her." He sounded an awful lot like... David. That was inpossible! The other guy laughed.. "Or what?"
He pushed me down and I looked up, everyone laughing. "This."
He swung his fists, punching this guy down. Beating him to the ground, kicking sand at him.
"Bro, we're cool." the guy said, holding up his hands in defence.
"Oh and bro?" He said. "I'm supposed to be a girl." His mouth widened, I turned.
David? When did he get back? I smmiled instantly.
"So basically, you just got beat up by a girl." I laughed, standing up with him.
People still pointed, laughed, and threw stuff at me. But with David finally beside me again, I felt safe, and Confused at the same time.
David pulled me up, giving me a piggy back ride. "Aweh, lovebirds!" We heard Kevin.
"So, when did you get back?" I asked into his ear.
He sighed. "Last night." I got off of his back. "And I'm just finding out now?"
He explained to me how he was exausted and busy getting back into the house.
"How's little Sabby's life going?" He asked changing the subject.
"She's great. She's a little lonely lately though." He smiled.
"C'mon Lexus, get on my back, I want to take you somewhere." I smiled.
"I can't say no to you.." I got on his back, saying my goodbyes to my friends.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked, giggling as I held onto him tightly.
He smiled. "Dinner." I beamed from ear to ear, him smiling back.
    "I got reservations."
[Sorry if this chapter wasn't any good. I've been writing it on and off for a while. And if it's terrible, you should let me know, so I'm not boring everyone out of their socks. :P]

    Chapter Fifteen
I gave in, and we went to the movies. The place was pretty much empty besides the employees and some other people. I didn't really care who was there.
I just hoped that nothing would happen. "Popcorn please?" She smiled, twirling her hair.
"Sure, no problem. Can I have a large popcorn?" We walked to the movie theater.
I didn't even know what we were watching, some romance movie or something.
I couldn't stop thinking about the way David's face looked as my father dragged me away.
"Danni?" I looked at her. "Yeah?" I sighed as she shivered. "I'm cold."
I gave her my jacket, starting to freeze. "Thank you!" She started twirling her hair again.
"Danni?" I looked over at her. What could she possibly need now?
I looked at her, confused. 'Oh no." I thought, and she kissed me.
"What on EARTH are you doing?!" She sat back in her seat, eyes widened.
I was looking at her, and she looked scared for her life. "I'm sorry..."
Those were the only words that came out of her mouth, I sighed.
"No, I'm sorry.." There was an awkward silence, and the few people in the theater were staring at us. I instantly thought of somthing that would cure everything.
The one thing my Dad could do nothing about. "Christine.." She looked at me.
I looked back and blurted out. "I'm attracted to men..." She just started laughing.
"I don't believe that one bit." I tried almost the entire movie getting shushed from trying to
tell her I was attracted to guys. We were now walking to her house.
"Why wont you just believe me?!" She stopped in front of me, and stared right into my eyes.
"Just because you're feminine, doesn't mean you're gay." I shrugged.
"I like you Christine, but honestly, we can only be friends."
"Why can't you just give me a chance?" I walked away. "You wouldn't understand."
I walked back to my house, and grabbed my things, and put in my clip extensions, atleast until I could get mine stiched back in."Thanks for nothing."
My mom chased after me out the door. "Lexus.." I looked at her, on the verge of tears.
"Mom, save it! All these years you've let him push me around. He's abused me, and all you do it stand there, until he's gone then you automatically care. I 'm done Mom!"
She hugged me and whispered the most surprizing responce into my ear.
"Atleast you'll be safe." I hugged her back. "I'll call you sometime."
And with that I left, I walked to the only place I could think of. The one place I could breathe, for real. I went to the coffee shop. "Tea for me please."
I looked out the window, watchibng as the people walke by. Everyone was different.
Short hair, long hair. Short, tall. There were even Skinny and bigger people.
They were all accepted in their own different ways, just like me.
And then I saw something that changed my life, the playground.
There was a little girl, probably around 10, maybe 11. Boys were throwing woodchips in her face, and the girls were pointing, laughing and teasing her.
I left the tip on the table and walked out. "What do you think you are doing?"
I walked up to the girl as the other kids ran away. "You okay?" She was crying. "Yeah."
I sat next to her and gave her a smile. "What's wrong?"
She started telling me about how the other kids tased her bacuse her parents are gay
and she was adopted. They didn't think she was normal, because of the way she is being raised. She's also very smart, which isn't appreciated as much anymore.
"Will it ever get better?" She asked, looking up at me with her deep blue eyes.
"I still ask myself that question every day." She smiled. "You're the only person that has ever talked to me. I smiled in return. "Well it's their loss, you're a wonderful kid!"
Her pocket started ringing. "What's that?" She sighed. "My Dad's make me carry this around."
I laughed. "Ahh, well want me to walk you home?" She hugged me. "Please?"
Her house was just down the street, and also just a few houses down from David's.
"Emily! Dinner!" I smiled, her house was actually pretty nice.
"You should meet my dads!" I walked up to her doors, and introduced myself.
"Well thank you Lexus, for bringing our daughter home and cherring her up."
I smiled. "Well, I have to go to my boyfriend's house, so I'll write down my number just in case you need someone to talk to, okay Emily?" I wrote my number handing it to her, and walked up to David's house, hearing them fighting.
"Just come back with us!" I heard him throw something, which even made me jump.
"Get out of here!" The door had almost opened, when I heard David speak up.
"Wait.." They were silent for a moment. "If I leave, will you let me bring Lexus?"
I stopped, speachless, and I wasn't even in the same room as them.
The door opened and when David looked at me I panicked.
    I waved, smiling awkwardly. "Hello."
[well, that is a very awkward moment.... haha]

    Chapter fourteen
David plunged toward me in a hug. "It's not too soon?" I shrugged. I didn't really know.
It seemed like it was a bit too soom to be saying something so powerful.
"Maybe we could just hold off on saying stuff like that for a while?"
He agreed. We talked, and eventually fell asleep on the couch after a while.
"David, get up." I heard Justin say. "Dude, no go away."
"David, come on, get up, please?" He moved around a bit, making me move as well.
I felt his hands go around me and held me, I smiled.
"Daviiiid!" We both opened our eyes and shot up on the couch as fast as we could.
David's parent's were standing there looking at us. "S-sorry, I should get going anyways."
I got up and his mother hugged me. "You must be Lexus." I looked at David.
I couldn't understand what was going on. Maybe this was a family act.
And if it was a family act, they did a whole lot of a better job than mine.
"Justin has told us about you and David." I felt her smile burning through my eyes.
"David sweetie, we're sorry for being so unaccepting about everything."
David got up yawning and trying to fix his lion's maine of hair.
"This isn't the time Mom." He looked from her to me and back at her.
I looked at him. "I don't mind, I can go to Isobelle's house." He sighed.
"No, you can stay here, it's fine." All of a sudden a little girl walked in the room.
"Mommy, is Davey awake yet?" And as soon and she saw David, she smiled and hugged him.
"Davey I miss you!" I smiled as he picked her up and kissed her forhead.
"I missed you too Amanda..." It was his little sister.
She looked just like him, besides her long curls. He smiled talking to her.
"Look at how pretty you are, I bet you got all the boys trying to share their animal crackers!"
I giggled, but even tually everyone went silent, and it was extremely awkward.
I looked around at everyone noone was looking at anyone. I had to say something.
"Anyone want some breakfast?" Immediately everyone beamed with happiness.
"You cook?" I smiled and nodded. I knew how to cook some really good omlets.
"Yeah, does everyone like eggs?" Everyone looked like bobble heads. "Okay" I smiled.
Going in the kitchen David followed me, and he didn't look so happy.
"You know, you don;t have to..." I shrugged. "But I want to."
Cooking caused me to have a few burn marks now on my arms, I was clumsy.
I out everything on plates, and set the entire table. "Wow.." everyone said walking in.
Eating the meal would have been nice, if I had enough eggs for myself.
"You're not eating?" I heard David say to me. "I'll get myself some cereal." He frowned.
I got up, getting myself some cerial, and a glass of orange juice. I didn't like to drink the milk.
"So, Lexus. Justin tells me you're a really nice young lady." I smiled.
"I guess." She looked at me and smiled. "What do you plan on being after school?"
I looked around thinking for a moment. I really wasn't sure. So I shrugged.
I instantly got a text from my mom. 'Honey, please come home. I'm sorry!'
I ignored it. "David. We want you to come back home." Apparently our mother's thought the same. "Mom, no I like it here." She crossed her arms. "Don;t you like it better at home?"
He shook his head, getting up. "I knew you weren't here to just say you were sorry."
Everyone started yelling at eachother, and it became silent as the door opened furiously.
"Who's there?" David yelled. "I want my daughter!" My father walked in grabbing my shirt and dragging me. "Dad! How'd you find me?" He giggled. "I GPS'd your phone."
"Atleast let me walk!" He grabbed my wrist as I stood up. "Bye David."
He ran up to me. "mr. Talon, please let her stay!" It was no use I was shoved into the seat of the car. I waved. crying. Thinking I would never get to see him again.
We pulled up to the house, and he brought me in. "I have something for you."
He drug me in stripping me. "Dad stop!" He laughed. "I'm not going to touch you!"
He grabbed my old clothes, my 'Danni Clothes.' "Dad give it up, why are you dressing me?"
He wrapped ace bandages around my chest. "Dad! Answer me."
He smiled creepily, and un-stiched my extensions. "You're going on a date."
I wiggled around. "No, I don't want to!" He brought me into the living room, where there was a girl sitting on the couch. "You must be Danni, I'm Christine!" She smiled. "Fine." I whispered in my father's ear. There was no reason to make this girl feel rejected, she didn't even know what was going on, but the hardest part was, talking in my deep, natural voice.
I was so used to talking in my Lexus voice. "Where do you want to go?" I asked, smiling at her.
She smiled back at me. And mentioned the one thing I didn't want to go.
    "Lets go to the movies!"
    [Oh boy....This should be interesting.]

    Chapter Thirteen
The game drug on for hours. "Dare." I said, for the thirtieth time. Janice giggled.
"I dare you and David to kiss...On the lips!" I huffed.
"Really? How old are we right now?" She looked at me. "Well I'm 15."
I almost forgot how young she was, because she dressed like she was 19.
"Well. We've kissed like twenty times already." David raised his hand.
"I'm not complaining." I pushed him away playfully.
"Fine then." And the game had stopped there. "Well.." David started standing up.
"I better get going." I stood up next to him, and hugged him.
"What are you doing?" He said laughing. "Hugging you goodbye?"
He giggled. "You're coming with me, right?" I looked around confused.
"I am?" He smiled. "Preaseeee?" He put on his puppy face.
"David. not tonight." I felt terrible turning him down, but I didn't want to become clingy.
"Okay, well, text me?" I smiled and kissed his cheek, and then he walked out.
Layla spoke up. "Is everything okay with him?" I nodded. "I'm pretty sure."
"Your parents...he found out didn't he?" Isobelle said, sitting next to me. I nodded.
"What, found out what?" We sent Janice to bed. Layla hugged me.
    "I'm sorry....but I honestly don't think that he is okay." I sighed.
"I'll go check it out." I walked outside, and started walking toward his house.
"Don't worry little guy.." I seen him bringing a drenched kitten up to his house.
"I know the perfect home for you." He giggled. "Haha..purrfect!" I smiled. What a dork.
"You're the cutest thing alive. How could anyone leave you in a box on the side of the road in the rain?" I smiled and walked up his pathway. "Hey..."
He turned and smiled, almost tripping over his feet. "Lexus!"
I smiled and walked up to his porch, I could see his nervousness.
"I got you something..." I smiled. "It's adorable!" He handed me the kitten.
"Her name is Sabby." I laughed. "Why?" He smiled.
"Because, she's different." I giggled and picked her up and kissed her nose. "Thank you."
We started to walk into his house when his brother flug the door open, he was drunk.
"Hello little brother!" He pushed him outside. "You leaving for the night?" He nodded.
"I'm going to visit Trisha!" He practically rolled down the driveway.
"Should we help..." David smiled. "No, he's fine."
We walked into his house and I set the kitten on the floor. "David, can I ask you something?"
He smiled and looked at me. "Well... I was kind of wondering.."
He looked at me as if asking me to go on. "Is everything alright?"
He sighed and sat down holding his head in his hands. "I should be alright, eventually."
I sat next to him, and held his hand. He retracted instantly.
"I've been a little scared lately." I was now too. I didn't know what to say.
"Okay, silence is never good." I put my hand up, telling him to go on.
"I think I might.." He trailed off closing his eyes, and a tear ran down his cheek.
"David?" He looked up at me, his eyes bloodshot, and I could feel his pain.
What ever it was that was bothering him, was REALLY bothering him, it was hurting him.
I placed my hand on his face and did what my brain and my heart both told me to do.
I kissed him, and as I pulled away I noticed something different in his eyes.
"Lexus..." I stared deeply into his eyes, catching a glimpse of his soul.
As I looked at him longer I felt pain, but also I felt happiness.
"Lexus, I think I might..." He paused, and my heart started racing, and I knew exactly what he was going to say, I felt myself holding him tightly in my grasp.
I smiled at him and looked him straight in the eye, pure eye contact.
I seen his eyes brighten, and his face light up in reliefe after I spoke.
"I think I love you too."
[Expected that did you? Or didn't you? You might not expect what happens next. Hmm. ;) ]

    Chapter Twelve
"Thank you" I mouthed to David. He smiled.
"Can we enjoy the rest of this Dinner now, please?" My mother stated.
"Yeah." I said, playing with my mashed potatoes. I didn't find anything my grandparents cooked edible. "May we be excused?" I said, wanting to leave.
"Yes you may sweetie." My mom said smiling. I looked at my father.
"Bye Dad." He put on a fake smile. "Goodbye sweetheart. I'll see you when ever you get home." I could see right through his little act. This wasn't good.
"David.." I started to say as soon as we walked outside. "Will you help me?"
"With what?" he asked grabbing my hand. "I can't go back home. Not for atleast a week."
He nodded, and we walked to my house, and I walked inside.
"Wait outside, I'll just be grabbing some clothes."
I walked down to my room instantaniously coughing. 'Stupid Mold.' I thought.
I started putting everything I owned into trashbags. Didn't take much, only two trashbags.
One filled with clothes, and one filled with just about everything else.
"Oh my god." I heard from behind me. "They make you sleep down here?"
I nodded, "I told you to stay outside." He shook off what I had said.
"Lexus, this is abuse!" I put my head down in agreement. "Yeah."
"Lexus, I'm not letting you come back here." I shook my head.
"What are you talking about?" He snapped. "THIS." He extended his arms.
"This is not sanitary. You could die!" I looked at him. "It's not like I can leave."
He started grabbing the two bags. "Is this all?" I nodded. "Why?"
"You're staying with me." I laughed. "That's called kidnapping."
He started carrying everything upstairs. "I'll say at Isobelle's."
We both walked to her house. "I'll be fine here, stop stressing."
He complained about my room the whole time.
"I can't believe you two left!" We started laughing. "I had to eat at my grandparents."
"Well, we had to clean up." I smiled. "But David and I didn't make the mess."
She smiled. "I know, you guys were too busy making kissy faces at eachother."
"Ew go away." I giggled. "ISOBELLE!" She and I both looked st the car that pulled up next to her and we both groaned. Janice. Her cousin was here for a while.
"Janice, hi." She got out of the car and we both gasped.
She changed, her clothes, her hair. Isobelle loved it.
"You look amazing!" She smiled. "Thanks, I've been working out! You do too!"
We all walked into Isobelle's house. David pulled me to the side.
"Don't worry, you look a lot better than them." I pushed him playfully.
"So who's this? He's a cutie!" I stared at Janice, and smiled.
"Why this is my brother, David. You've never met him."
"But I-" I elbowed him in the stomach and smiled at him. "Yeah, her brother."
He and I were going to confuse her so bad, until Isobelle opened her mouth.
"Don;t listen to them, they are together." She crossed her arms.
"Ohh..." They ran up into the house as David and I stayed behind.
"You want to catch a movie?" He asked smiling, and grabbing my pinky with his.
I giggled. You just wannt to do the move." He laughed. "I think I already did the move."
I smiled. "Oh really?" He pressed against me and looked down at me smiling. "Really."
We eventually walked up into Isobelle's room, where we found Isobelle, Layla and Janice.
"Everyone gather round. We're playing a game." I sighed.
"Really? A game? What are we ten?" Janice smiled and looked at us deviously.
"Truth...or...DARE!" I burst out laughing, justa bout falling over.
I guess we were going to be ten for a night.

    Chapter Eleven
The next morning, David and I were probably the only two who were sober.
There were bottles and cans everywhere, people eerywhere.
"Glad I wasn't a part of this." I stated, chuckling. "Me too, I feel like you'd be a stubborn drunk. It would take a lot more than a geek with awesome skills to get you to be my girlfriend. We both laughed. It was probably true.
"Hey, David?" I said, checking my phone. "Yeah?"
I sighed. "I have to go with my mom to my grandparents for dinner."
Without hesitation, he spoke up. "Want me to go with?" I looked at him shrugging.
"Come on, it'll be fine. I'll be there for company, and I'll get to meet your family!"
He was a little too excited. "Sorry, I just like families..." I cut him off. "I'd love you to come!"
We went to his house, also having to drive his brother home.
"You can wear something from my closet." I smiled.
"Your dream closet?" He laughed. "I knew it would come in handy some day, so hush!"
I smiled, walking into his closet, seeing all the same amazing clothes I've seen before.
"So tell me..." I said smiling at some skinnyjeans he had on a hanger.
"Why did you become transexual so late?" He sighed.
"I had to save up, and I wanted to be acccepted until then." I knew how he felt, sometimes I was the same, well I used to be.
We got dressed and we went to my house. "Mom this is..." I froze. My father was in the car. "Mom, he's going?" She sighed and touched my shoulder. "He is your father."
I grabbed David's hand and we asked Kevin to drive us, he lived just down the street from my grandparents. "Thanks Kev!" We said, after getting dropped off infront of the house.
I looked at him, wanting to go back home. "David, I have to warn you.."
He stood infront of me. "I've got your back Lexus." And he did, I could tell.
"Everyone this is David." That's as far as the introduction had gotten before my dad spoke up.
"Is this your gay lover?" I regretted his arrival already. My grandmother now had to put in her two cents. "It really is a shame, the thing Danni is going through." I held m had, as everyone bashed on me, the usual family meet up. "Why do you do this to yourself Danni? You know it isn't natural." My Grandfather said. My mom, was just sitting there, soaking everything in, as always. Not giving a rats a** what anyone said, and how bad it hurt me.
"You better take this out, it's disrespectful to your elders." My father said Tugging on my extensions. "Dad, stop. Those are connected." He didn't care. He pulled harder.
"Dad, Stop!" He pulled me to the floor and pinned me there with his foot.
"I wish you'd come back into reality young Danni, I know of a nice young lady named Samantha that would really catch your eye." I was about to flip.
"Sisssy!!!" The twins yelled smiling. "Sissy? NO! That is your brother. He's commiting a sin!
He's not appreciating the body that God gave him! That is your brother!"
"Really?!" David got up slamming his fists on the table. "Is this how you treat your daughter?"
"Boy, you got some nerve, these are my parents, how dare you disrespect them in their own home! Danni, get your gay lover boy a muzzle!"
"With all do respect Sir, I do believe that your DAUGHTER can do what she pleases.
"And what. Am I supposed to let the gay lover friend of your's boss me around?" He said looking at me. I looked at David, telling him to sit down. Too late.
"No sir, I'm her boyfriend, and I'm not gay."
He snickered. "You are aware that she is a boy, right young man?"
"Yeah, as a matter of fact I am aware. Unlike the rest of you people, I can accept HER for who SHE is." My dad spoke up again. "Young boy, do you not understand? She's a guy!"
And I couldn;t help but laugh at my Da's reaction to David's reply.
"Yeah? And I'm a chick. So suck on that."
My father? Yeah. He shut up and sat down.
    [Go David!]

My aplology for errors in the story that confuse you.
I am so sorry.....for all the confusingness in my story guys.
I am always writing when I am half asleep, and can't fix my spelling errors, or even remember what happened half the time because I write some of the story and sometimes it takes hours or days to write more to it. D:
    SOME ERRORS I MADE:
-Lexus and David were supposed to go for another walk after he brought her back to the tent, and after they confessed liking eachother in chapter Eight.
-In Chapter Ten, when it says ' I studied his face, He had a few freckles, but other than that, it was smooth perfection.'Woah, what are you thinking Lexus!' I thought. It was almost as if I liked him..Maybe I did. No, I did. I definitely for sure liked David. ' I knew they already confessed their likings, I just completely blocked it out.
    I hope I don't confuse everyone too bad:/

    Chapter Nine
We walked back to the camp site, and everyone was already dressed and looked like they were ready to leave. "Why are you all dressed?"
Apparntly we were going out for the day, and evryone's faces lit up when Kenvin spoke.
"Phones, everyone!" I lookd at him, and declined. "I don't want mine."
I was not the center of attention, and it wasn't a good thing.
"What?! I don't want it!" After ten minutes of arguing, David and I got ready.
"Layla, you're with Isobelle, and The rest ride with me." Kevin stated.
Not like David and I were more than two pople or anything.
"Take front David." I flashed him a smile, walking into the back seat.
We drove for about an hour to the mall, and When we were stopped, Kevin threw my phone at me. "It's your mom." I facepalmed myself. "Oh crap! The twins!"
I had to babysit my little twin sister and brother tonight.
"I'll bring you home..." As we pulled in front of my house, David started to get out.
"I can help if you want, you need any help?" He said, rubbing his neck.
"It's better you don't." I walked up to my front door, dreading what was on th other side.
"Mom I'm home!" And with that I felt a sting across my face.
"Dad! What was that fo-" Anothr blow to the face.
"Danni!" I snapped. "I AM NOT DANNI!"
He looked at me with a crooked smile. "Not Danni, eh? Then why is it on you're birt certificate?" He laughed, and with a little too much spit I might add.
"Obviously I'm not, do I look like Danni to you? No!"
He grabbed me by the wrists with his fingernails and Threw me into my room.
    It was in the basement.
"Let me out!" I cried at the door for about seven minutes. "Mommy, please...."
She never did anything about my father, even though she didn't approve of him at all.
She just sat there and watched him hurt me, and thought it was okay to eventually get me something I've always wanted. This time, I just wanted to be accepted, as Lexus.
I didn't have any cell service, and it made me want to die.
"We're leaving, the twins are going to grandma's." I wanted to cry.
"Mommy....please...." She replied, but not the kind of reply I wanted.
"You'll be free tomorrow sweetie, I'm sorry." Free? I would never be free, not here.
I fell asleep around 11. I was bleeding from my wrists.
"Wake up Lexus!" I heard my mother call from upstairs, but I couldn't move.
"Lexus!" I heard her yell from upstairs, opening my door.
"I don't want to get up!" She sighed, coming down the stairs.
"Your Dad is at work, lets go to the mall."
I groaned getting up."Mom there's only a few things in this world that I want."
She smiled. "And what are they?" I sighed.
"Well, first off I want him gone." She looked down. "Just get ready."
I looked in the mirror. "Actually Mom, there's one thing I want more."
Her smile had come through again, and she looked at me. "And..?"
"I want to be a girl." She looked confused. "Honey, you are one."
Atleast my mother understood what I was going through, and she was completely fine with me being the way I am. It's my father who doesn't. "I want...the surgeries."
She looked at me. "Lexus Amanda Talon!" I laughed at her reaction. "What mom!"
She stopped me. "You're fine the way you are! Why would you even Think about changing yourself?" I couldn't even think of a response. She was right, I don't need to change.
It wouldn't make anyone who doesn't accept me actually accept me.
"A makeover then?" She smiled. "What kind?" I looked at her deviously.
"I want real extensions, and...." She knew it was coming, I could tell by the way she waited for it to come out of my mouth. And I could tell she was all for it too.
"I want implants....chest implants." She agreed, and took her credit card.
"I was kind of saving up for it for you anyways, for your birthday!"
After five hours, I got it done, the extensions, the chest. My mom spoiled me every time my father and I had our encounters, and I honestly loved it. She also let me get new skinny jeans and chains. "I love you mom." I admitted. "You just love me because I bought you stuff." We laughed. "That too." She hugged me before dropping me off at Isobelle's. "Love you Kiddo."
I could tell she meant it, at least in her own way possible.
As I looked up at Isobelles house, I could tell she was having a party, because of the music.
I ran out back and got changed behind a bush.
Black skinnies, and rainbow converse, new chains, and a new shirt. And of course, my bracelets. I faced her house and seen Isobelle and Layla kissing.
"Oh goodness." I walked in and looked around, taking some medicine for the chest pain.
I looked over at Isobelle, and she smiled, complimenting on my new 'accessories'.
"Where's David?" She pointed over to the stairs, and he was alone.
    "Need company?"
