I'm sure many of you will have heard of that New Year's resolution thing where throughout 2013 you keep a jar and everytime something good happens to you you write it on a slip of paper and put it in the jar until the end of the year when you tip it out and read it all.
Well, I'm going to do it except instead of keeping it until next New Year I'm going to read them everytime I'm feeling sad to keep my hopes up and to stop me doing anything I'll regret. It's been a difficult year for me and I am sure that next year will be just as challenging, but this way I'll have prof that good things do happen and that life is worth living.
Hopefully, with this method, I'll be able to make it through another year.
And I know what my first piece of paper is going to say.
I'm still alive.
Because if that isn't something to be grateful for then I don't know what is.
