If this is the 4th time u like him, and he's liked you everytime, just a thought: maybe he's too shy or nervous and he just said that he likes you so he wouldn't have to try to tell you that he doesn't like you...
If it really seems like he does like you, I would ask him out if I were you. Your feelings for him obviously aren't going away so just take a crack at it and ask him out. It's not gonna do any harm just to ask.

hes probobly a shy guy; he doesnt know what to do or say around you which shows he really likes you and youre not like any other girl. i completely agree with superflower1616; dont give up!(;

well- first see if he was just kidding about liking you to. it sounds harsh, but maybe the guy made a bet with his friends or something? thats happened to a couple of my friends. then, maybe you could ask some of your friends to find out for you. like they could ask him, "so [namehere] is looking prettyy hot today huh?" idk if this is good advice, but its the best i could do. and i feel your pain. good luck!!
