She waits impatiently;
Can’t wait one more minute
The bus roars up the street
Screeching to a halt
She boards the bus

When they finally begin, she rises for the pledge
Then stares at the clock, just a few more minutes
She taps her pencil wildly

She finally leaves;
She walks slowly and naturally
She puts on her pretty smile
She turns the corner
