So today has just been AMAZING! To start, my best friend wasn't at school today so I had basically nobody because I'm still sorta new to this school (only been here a little over a month) and then me and my 'father' got into an argument because I told him that every year, my mom lets me and my little sister stay home the day after Halloween and he told me that we are going so then we started arguing back and forth about that and soon it escalated pretty bad to where I went off on him. Need a little background knowledge? Ok. 1. He left me and my sister during the middle of the night without saying anything and went to a whole different state. 2. He has never been a father to either of us. 3. He favors my little sister every chance he gets. 4. He does not provide for us whatsoever. 5. He has a 19 year old girlfriend when he is 41. ...I'm gonna be 17 in 2 months. 6. We will with friends so me and my sister can go to a good school and he still has bills to pay, but chooses not to. 7. He chose to completely ignore what Mr and my sister want and get custody of us while we came for visitation. So this morning when we were fighting, he said that if I don't go to school on Friday, I can't go out trick or treating TOMORROW night. Now just think about that for a second and you will understand how much of a stupid moron he is. Am I crazy for wanting to go back home to my mom or what? My mom has been our provider our whole lives and I am a 100% complete mommys girl. And my mom also got remarried to this amazing guy and I love him to death because he has been more of a father in the past year since they have been together than IT (as I call my biological 'father') has EVER been!

you have every right to be with who ever you want because according to law you get to choose since you are over 16 but your sister doesn't i am sorry i'm a divorce child to and i have almost the same situation but my dad never has or will care for me his wife is fighting rights for me for money and mom has husband who has been in my life for 14 amazing years and he is my father no matter what anyone says so you got to a judge and you tell him that you want to live your mother and he should let you but it also depends on the state to look it up on the internet

Thank you so much! I really need someone on my side right now. I know I should be able to choose anxiety with the way both of my parents are, they will not split me and my sister up for anything so it's basically like wherever I go, she goes.. I have been wanting to go to a judge for the past 3 months, but I have no way of getting there because even though I have my license, my 'father' won't drive at all! So I basically get drove around everywhere like a little 5 year old and it drives me nuts! I've been thinking of going over to my friends for the weekend and seeing if they will give me a ride or something. Idk.
