ATTENTION
We all want someone to hold us.
We want someone to show they care about us.
We want someone to love us.

We all want someone to give us a little bit of attention. We want attention. It's not a bad thing. Everyone needs some attention. Some people do things for attention. When those things are self harm it isn't any different. You can't call them 'attention seekers' as an insult. They are attention seekers just like everyone else. Every day I see quotes that say "I wished somebody loved me" or "maybe one day someone will care". You're all attention seekers. So what? But when it comes to self harm.. you can't just let it go. You have to do something about it. Give that person attention if that's what they need. I'm not saying everyone does this for attention. I'm just saying everyone seeks attention. I've seen everyone I know do something for attention. My best friend, my boyfriend, my brother, my step sister, my dad, my mom, my teacher. Everyone. Seeking attention is just wanting someone to care. And its not a big deal. It's okay to want attention.
