She ran from the room, tears splashed onto her face,
Who knew school could be such a cruel place.
They didnt know her story, they didnt know her fears,
They didnt know she'd been rushed to the hospital twenty-six times in the past two years.
But they went ahead and judged her, they didnt even care
That she always wore long sleeves and never left her wrists bare.
Maybe had they noticed, we wouldn't have been too late,
And maybe her life wouldn't been left to fate.
But she took it in her own hands, spun it round and round.
But as she sprinted into the bathroom, she collapsed to the ground.
She couldn't hold on any longer, her fake smile was growing old,
Hey body was growing weaker, her weary heart growing cold.
She opened up her pocket and in a glint of light
Her common sense turned into a bird, far away, talking flight.
She rips the razor down her wrist, she sighs in pain and relief
But this time Is short-lived and followed soon by grief.
The blood pools around her, she can hardly breathe,
She faints in and out of consciousness, then feels an alarming breeze.
The bathroom door is opening, she hears a cry and then a shout,
She sees her best friend looking down at her, a face of horror before she blacks out.
She wakes up in the hospital, tubes plugged into her arms,
She rips them out, but an alarm sounds.
She sees the frightened face of her best friend once more,
Before the closes her eyes for the last time, she lets herself go, and falls to the floor.
