so i want to share a story with you guys that had me in tears at lunch today.

there is a girl in my grade and she's not very talkative. I follow her on instagram and she posted a picture of her upper arm. It was just full of cuts. She wasn't posting that to get attention. She just said "hi guys, i just wanted to post this picture so that i don't have to explain the cuts everyday. since it's getting hotter, we won't be wearing our blazers anymore, so everyone will see them. but don't worry about me." 

her parents found out about this picture and her cuts, so they sent her to the hospital to get help. she wasn't in school and this one boy in her homeroom, also in my grade, heard that she wouldn't be in school because of these self-harm cuts. he texted her the night before she was going to the hospital and said "hey, i just wanted to let you know that i had the biggest crush on you last year. i never came up with the confidence to ask you out. you were just too breathtakingly beautiful that i thought i would get flustered. i did end up getting over my crush on you, but i still think that you are absolutely beautiful, and i don't want you to ever forget that."

he never did have a crush on her. he just wanted to show her that someone does care about her and that she shouldn't give up.
