Listen child, i've been in the same situation:) sometimes you think, o hes really hot, people will say hes really hot, and ill be proud to call him my bf, but the obvious choice is there. If your day brightens up at the sight of him, if he makes you laugh so hard you cant breathe, if when you hug him you feel as though the world has stopped ( even just for a second) then hes the guy for you. it might be a lot to take in, but trust me you wont regret following your heart, not your eyes. think of it this way, if you were blind, who would make you happier:)
