Chapter One

"Mom, I have cheer after school today." I called to my scientist of a mom. She was hunched over the kitchen table, probably examining a cornflake or something. She grunted a short response which I took as yes,
so I grabbed a granola bar and headed out the door.
I flipped my thick brunette hair over my shoulders and examined my lightly made up emerald green eyes in my
pink compact. I snapped it shut just as Jake, my somewhat boyfriend, rode up on the curb and unlocked his car.
"Hey babe." He kissed me quick as I got in the car.
"Jake, please. I just did my make up." He smiled at me and pulled away.
"So, how do you feel?" He asked, after a few moments of silence.
I shrugged and picked at my manicure. "I feel no different, don't be stupid. I'm just 19."
He was still smiling, even though i'd insulted him. "Hey, sorry babe." His right hand strayed from the wheel and rubbed my left thigh softly. Okay, i'll admit it, I was kind of a wh*re, and Jake was turning me on majorly.
Which is why Jake was only my somewhat boyfriend.
I ignored the rush of warmth that shot up my legs and circled my gut. I pushed his fingers off of my skirt and pointed at the road. "Could we focus on not killing us?" His smile faltered, "Sure, babe."
He parked in the closest spot at the school and we got out. He tried to hold my hand but I skipped forward and hooked my arm around my BFF Angela.
"Angie, baaby." I said, as she kissed my cheek and looped our arms together. "19 Babe. Woohoo."
We walked arm in arm to first period. Well, almost first period.
Luke Watson stopped us just outside the door, a sub teacher. He held out his hand.
"Allison." I sighed and pushed Angie ahead,
"I'll be right in." The bell rang and the halls emptied.
"Luke, I don't have your money right now." He grunted, "I saw that coming."
I inched closer to him and ran my fingers up his arm.
Goosebumps appeared where my nails skimmed, he looked away.
"Miss Gray. The money." I shook my head, "Luke, I'm reeeeally sorry."
I layed the sincerity on thick. His gaze melted a little. I pressed myself up against him and wound my arms around his neck. "Come on. You know you can't resist a pretty girl like me." Reluctantly his fingers spidered across my spine and rested on my hips. I pulled his lips towards mine and kissed him hungrily, chasing away his reason for coming to me.
I nipped his ear when he pulled away. His chin stubble scraped my cheek, and I was really turned on.
"I know a place.." I whispered into his ear. He pulled me up so hard I gasped, but directed him down the short hall and into the empty music room.
Let's just say that when he left, I didn't owe him anything. But he did slip his number into my black lace bra as I slid my shirt back on. He kissed me lightly again, smacked my butt, and strode out of the room.
And it didn't even bother my that he was probably almost 30.
And I pranced into first period.
