Take A Back Road
- Chapter three -

Pulling my long auburn hair into a ponytail I pushed open the door and tried to be as graceful as I could, but the door just didn't like that idea. I pushed and shoved against the door, I looked around making sure there wasn't a sign that said pull on it. I pushed again, and i burst out of the bathroom, Rick was standing in the corner laughing histarically at me. The he stopped suddenly, his eyes got big, I looked to see what he was starting at.. It was the guy who had helped me with the door earlier, lying there on the ground rubbing his head.

Great. I shook my head at myself as I kneeled down beside him, "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, do you want some ice?" He just nodded his head, I got up and carefully walked around him. I rushed into the kitchen and grabbed some ice out of the freezer. I looked around the kitchen, soaking it all in, this was the first time, and probably the last time I'd ever be in this kitchen. If I didn't get fired after today it would be the biggest surprize ever.
I gave him the ice as my brother helped him up, I apologized over adn over again, surely I must've been getting annoying by now. He turned to look at me and raised an eyebrow at me, "I really am sorry, is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"
He thought about my offer for a minute, then gave me a smile, "perhaps there is something you can do for me," he chuckled to himself, "that is, if you're willing."
"I'll do anything!" I said a little too happily.
"Go on a date with me?" He shifted his weight as he looked down at me. I could feel my jaw drop.

Sorry for the long wait guys, with the holidays and mom and I moving I've had a lot going on... I hope I haven't lost all of my readers.
