I open the front door and I see my sister with open arms greeting me. "Oh my gosh Shannon!!!! What are you doing here??? Your a week early." " I wanted to surprise you, is there a rule saying I can't?" " No, I'm just so happy to see you! How's college is it tuff?'' I reply. "No it's fine, a lttle stressful but nothing I can't mange. What about you? Is everyone nice at school? Do you like anyone?" she asks me. "Let's talk about it in my room," I say pulling her up the stairs. I walk into my room and shut the door after her. "So?" she says. " I dont know where to start!!! There's this really cute boy named Niall who I sit with at lunch and he has the nicest blue eyes and blonde hair and his accent, O his accent! I know everyone has an Irish accent but his is just amazing!!!!" She looks at me and pulls me into a bear hug " That is so cute! Does he like you back?" " I don't know." I say looking down at my shoes. " I think he may just like me as a friend. " I then feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I pull it out and see a text from Niall.



My sister grabs my phone and jokes  "No texting while your around me missy." " No, Shannon that was Niall!" I scream. She then looks at my phone then me. She puts her hand way up so I can't reach it and starts to say what shes typeing"Yes, and I want to tell you that-" I jump on her and grab her arm and yank the phone out of her hand. I look at the screen and it says message sent. "You sent it?!" I scroll through my phone trying to see everything she said. Luckly it only says what she said.  I then feel my phone buzz again.





I slide the phone into my back pocket and look at my sister " Don't ever do that again!!!" "Fine, do you want me to drive you down?" "Can you? I mean since driving here is different.." " Never mind" she says. " " it's fine I'll walk see you at dinner." " ok." I open the door and head down the stairs. I go into the kitchen and see my mom putting the grocerys away. "Mom, I'm going into town with a friend, and I don't know what time I'll be back." I tell her. She looks at me and says "Just be home for dinner." " I will.' I say as I turn around and go out the front door.
