I Warned You
Chapter 14

Ryder's dad was really nice.
While Ryder was at practice, we talked about a lot of topics.
Mostly me and Ryder's interests.
Soon, he was home, and his dad left us alone.
"What are you doing here?" Ryder asked me, sweat dripping down his face.
Somehow, he managed to make that look hot.
"I was fighting with my mom..." I muttered.
He frowned. "Let me take a shower, then you can tell me about it.
"Okay," I smiled at him.
After he finished, he came downstairs.
His hair was usually gelled up, but it was down.
"What? I don't have to look good now," He joked, noticing the look I gave him.
I giggled, and he sat on the couch next to me. 
"So what happened?" Ryder asked.
"Well, she found out about the beer... and she got really mad at me," I explained.
"Thankfully my parents didn't," He chuckled.
"Yeah, but then I went on and told her how she was never there for me," I said.
 He nodded.
"She felt guilty then. But, I was upset... so I came to see you."
"You guys will make up," Ryder reassured.
"Wanna watch a movie?" He added, changing the subject.
I nodded, and he said I could pick.
 "Let's watch The Notebook!" I squealed.
"Those godd@mn chickflicks," Ryder joked.
"Oh quit complaining," I replied.
Halfway into the movie, Ryder suggested some popcorn.
"I'm not really hungry..." I lied.
Ever since this fight with my mom, I don't feel like eating.
"Hailey, I'm warning you, you're gonna regret not eating one day," He said strictly.
"Fine, go make some then," I said smirking.
"But first..." Ryder went on.
"First what?" I asked.
He didn't say anything, but soon his lips crashed onto mine.
