I know Addison doesn't like me. 
I just know it.
I wish I new why.
But I don't.
All I know is that she doesn't like me the same way I like her.
I wish she did.
But she doesn't.
I need to move on.

It's been a week since the dance, we hung out the Saturday after but it wasn't like I hoped. 
I hoped she would tell me she liked me. 
But she didn't, 
she won't.

We haven't hung out since then. 
We barely talked.
So I called her.
"Addison?"
"Yeah"
I paused, "Hi" 
"Hi" 
Her soft voice went smoothly into me and I smiled
"What's up.." She said slowly
"Oh nothing I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget who I was."
She sighed "Troy.."
"Listen Ryan is going to be having a party tonight at his house. I'd like to see you there... if you want I could pick you up or maybe just see you there. I don't know."
"Maybe. I have to go right now though."
"So I'll see you later?" I said, full of hope. If Addison was there, it would be good.
"Maybe." 

My phone beeped again, 
Ryan: Party. My house. Tonight at 9.

I could tell by what he had sent that it was a mass text, most likely everyone in his phone. Which was almost everyone in the school.
I got to Ryans at 10. 
"Hey bro, thought you weren't coming" he slapped my back as I walked throught the narrow hallway full of people, into the kitchen. 
"Well I'm here!" I searched around the three connecting rooms, desperatly "Hey is Addison here?" I asked Ryan
"Oh. Uh yeah"
I glared at Ryan, "Oh, Uh Yeah?" I mocked him
"Shes outside."
I smiled, "Great thanks."
"Wait. Troy. She went out there a while ago with that kid Nick"
My mind starting racing. So? It doesn't mean anything.
Does it?

Maybe they're just talking.
Maybe she likes him.
Maybe she is waiting for him. Not me.
But I now know for sure that she doesn't like me. 
What if they're just talking?
But the last time they were together they kissed. 
Sh/t Troy.
Get over this girl.
She doesn't like you.
She barely even knows you.
