prologue

I'm Kaili. Spelled K-A-I-L-I. Pronounced Kay-Lee.
That was my line when I was five almost six. You would've thought,
"She was only five, she has at least eight more years of innocent, childish life."
Well, I was different. I don't know how I did it. I admire my strength.
"Kaili, what happened? Why do you admire yourself"
Great question.
You shouldn't be too concerned. People have been through way worse.
I feel no one deserves this. Not even the worst man on Earth.
I remember. Watching him board his plane, crying,
going home and wailing, I miss him.
I never thought that would be my last time for years.
It was.

-4 YEARS-

Hey, I'm Kaili. I'm nine. I love life. But recently, it's been hard. my older sister, Allison, has been dating this 'badboy' and started coming home late, drinking, smoking. Slapping my mom. I got used to it. But one day. I come home from school. My mom crying. Allison had told her she wanted to commit suicide.
"Kaili, you have to stay strong, we are going to go to the hospital now, and you are going to come okay?"
I didn't know what was happening.
It got better. She went to therapy. But I didn't feel mentally stable.

- 4 years later -

I'm almost 12 now. Things have gotten better.
I don't know if I'm stable yet. Mentally or Physically.
I still have mixed feelings....
