It’s the feeling of getting knots and butterflies in my stomach.
My heart starts beating so fast;
all the adrenaline and nervousness kicks in.
I can’t help but giggle, trying to humor the tension away.
I swear my face just radiates a bright red.
Thoughts of “what if” race around my mind,
hurriedly playing out every scenario that could possible happen.
My knees get a bit wobbly and I have to remind myself
to take a breath and calm down.
