Remember When
chapter 1
The next day i woke up to a text.
"good morning(: -cam"
i smiled. I could tell today was gonna be one of those days that
me and cam would talk all day like we used too. I felt like a
good friend and like i was needed for something.
*flash back to 4 days ago*
My phone started to ring. I quickly ran to my phone and didnt
recognize the number, so i ignored it. A few seconds later i got
a voicemail so i listened to it. It was cam asking me to call him
as soon as possible, but instead of me calling him he called me
again.
"hello?"
"hey guess what i found out" he sounded weird
"what...." i dragged the word on in curiosity
"lisa's been doing this for awhile, and its worse than i
thought, one of her other friends just told me that when she was
over her house she invited this guy and he was like feeling her
up and shoving his hands down her pants and stuff, this happened
two months ago" he blurted out.
i couldnt believe what i was hearing how could someone do this
especially when she had been dating cam for almost 6 months.
"oh my god."
"yeah i hope you and mary like unfriend her because you cant
really trust her anymore"
"yeah i understand what you saying bu-"
i got cut off
"mickey, i want to thank you for being such a good friend to
me, and actually listening to me like no one else does except
justin. You're a really good friend to have in these
moments"
"you're welcome cam, anytime"
"no i mean it thanks"
Then we said goodbye.
Him saying that made my day
*back to reality*
we were now talking about poker and how both of us were some-what
good at it.
"well you have to come over sometime and play me(:"
"how about today?"
"sure come on over(:"
we were in the middle of a poker game
(one that i wasnt winning)
when his mom comes running in
"you guys need to come outside!"
we both looked at eachother and ran outside
by now it was 9 pm and she pointed up at the sky.
Two night rainbows.
ive never seen one before in my life and apparently no one else
has either.
"isnt it beautiful?" he looked down at me
"yeah, ive never seen one before"
We locked eyes for about a minute until his brother came
barelling threw us.
then it became awkward.
