Chapter 1
Maxx's P.O.V
"Hey Maxx! Come
over here for a second." My boyfriend Ryan called me. I
smiled and walked over reluctantly.
"Hey, my parents are out of town tonight, and I'm having
a party. You should be there."
"Maybe I will." I teased.
"Good. And wear something nice okay?"
"Alright." I agreed as he pulled me in for a
kiss.
"See you later babe." I smiled and walked away. My
friend Jared came up to me,
"What was that all about?"
"Nothing. Ryan's having a party tonight, and he wants me
to go."
"Maxx, don't go. All he's trying to do is get in
your pants. Thats all he ever wants to do with girls."
I rolled my eyes,"Listen Jared, it's fine. I'll be
okay."
"I'm just looking out for you."
"Well, you don't need to. I don't need a babysitter,
I'm old enough to know better." I scoffed and walked
away.

There was only about an hour left before the party. I took a
quick shower and got dressed. I chose a short black dress with
cute cheetah print flats. I straigtened my hair completely
straight and put a bow in. I looked in the mirror before I left
and actually liked what I saw. I smiled at my reflection and
walked out the door.
I arrived at the party maybe 15 minutes late. I had to park a
pretty good distance away from the house because it was so
packed. I walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Ryan
answered the door almost instantly.
"Hey, I didn't think you were coming." I smiled and
he grabbed my waist and kissed my lips. I could smell the alcohol
on his breath. He led me inside, his hand never leaving my
hip.
"Hey, I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get us some
drinks." He smiled and walked off. From across the room I
noticed Stefanie Vaughn just glaring at me. I remember her and
Ryan used to have a thing, but they are over, and have been for a
while, why did she still hate me? Ryan came back with two plastic
cups in hand, "Hey, can we go somewhere, I don't know..
private?"
"I don't know Ryan, I kinda like it right
here."
"Please babe? I just wanna be with you. Alone." I
nodded and he took my hand leading me upstairs to his room. He
close the door behind him and started kissing me. It started out
gentle but then he kinda started getting rough. He pushed me on
his bed, laying on top of me trying to pull off my
dress.
"Ryan, please stop."
"No, babe. C'mon, It'll be okay. I
promise."
"Ryan I said Stop!" I was yelling now but he just
ignored me and continued to bit my neck. Finally I pushed him off
of me and got off his bed.
"What's wrong? I thought you loved me?" He
yelled.
"I do Ryan. But I'm not going to be just another girl
you can add to your bang list." I was tearing up now.
"Fine. I was almost done with you anyway. You're a
pathetic, worthless sl/ut." He said with no emotion on his
face. I started crying and ran out of that house. I dialed
Jared's number on my cell.
"Hello?" He was sleeping. Dammit.
"Jared?Hey. Can I stay at your place tonight? Please."
I was having a breakdown.
"Yeah, Maxx... Whats wrong? What happened?"
"Nothing. Well, something. I'll tell you when I get
there okay?"
"Alright.Bye Maxx"
"Goodbye Jared."
Hint: I've loved you
since the first day I met you.
