she stands with her friends.
deep
breath.
she is as ready as
she'll ever be. she sees
him. he doesn't even notice her looking. she
looks to her friends for
reassurance. they smile.
she walks over to him. she asks the dreaded
question.
"will you go out with me?"
the look
on his face says it all. she walks
away,
her head down. she feels the
embarassment
of rejection. but she knows she's okay.
BEING REJECTED IS JUST A PART OF
