If you just click top quotes, it directs you to the "top now" quotes, which are basically the quotes that get the most faves in one hour. If you click the "top today" quotes then you get all the quotes that have the most faves in 24 hours. Haha, I hope this makes sense. c: witty isn't dead. :D

There are two reasons for this:
1. If you would notice, the top quotes are from this hour, not the past 24 hours.
2. It is nighttime in the US, where the majority of wittians live, so they are not online to favorite quotes.

If you want to see the quotes from the past 24 hours, make sure you click on the "Top Today" link, not the "Top Quotes" link.
