Stole My Heart
Chapter 4
Liam and I walked into a small cafe. There
were little tables everywhere, and it smelled like
coffee.
"Hi Liam," A lady who was working there said. At first
I thought he was a regular customer, but then I realized that the
woman probably knew his name because he was so famous.
"Hey Darcy," he replied, approaching the counter she
was standing behind.
"What'll it be today?" Darcy asked.
"I'll have a small cup of coffee," Liam said.
"What would you like Emma?" he asked me.
"Um, I'll have a small hot chocolate please," I
answered, smiling.
"Great, that'll be ready in a second," Darcy
said.
"Thank you," Liam said, leading me over to one of the
little tables. We sat down across from eachother.
"This is my favorite cafe," Liam said, smiling at
me.
I nodded, not really sure what to say. I thought about what
Charlotte would do right now. She would probably be too emotional
to speak, considering how much she loved the band. Actually, I
was surprised that I wasn't freaking out. Even though I
wasn't as big a fan as Charlotte, it's not everyday that
you meet a singing sensation. Just then, Darcy came over with our
drinks.
"Enjoy," she said nicely, placing two mugs down on the
table.
"Thanks," Liam replied. He picked up his coffee and
took a sip. I took a small sip of my hot chocolate, and my eyes
widened.
"Wow... now I know why you like this place," I said.
The hot chocolate was better than any I'd ever had before.
Liam laughed.
For the next hour or so, Liam and I dranks our coffee and hot
chocolate, and talked about each of our lives. He told me all
about the band, and singing and everything, and even though I
didn't want to tell him about my boring life, but he
insisted. After that, we decided it was time to leave, so we
headed out to his car. He drove me home, and before I got out of
the car, Liam took my hand.
"Emma, wait!" he said. He handed me a piece of paper
with his number on it.
"Thanks," I grinned. He looked at me for a minute, and
suddenly, he leaned over and kissed me. He pulled away
quickly.
"Sorry, I..." he began.
"No. It's ok," I smiled. I kissed him again, and
got out of the car, putting the piece of paper with Liam's
number on it in my bag.
For the rest of the day, I couldn't stop thinking about
Liam.
But I had made up my mind about one thing...
I had to keep him a secret from
Charlotte.
