My hazel eyed, honey brown haired BFF
is a freshman (like me) at our very suburban high school. And she
is hopelessly lost in the maze of classes and buildings. (Yup, my
school has a HUGE campus)
She think's she is five minues
late to her geometry class, as the whole class is sttles in and
hearing a lecture by their teacher.
She quickly walks in, sits down and
takes out her calculator and listens attentively for about twenty
secs. At this point, she notices some REALLY WEIRD STARES from not
only the students but the professer as well.
The teacher says:
"I think you may be lost. This is the African American
Scholars Program"
And only then does it dawn on her she
is the only white kid in the whole room.
Props to my
friend's parents for raising a TRULY colorblind gurl like my
BFF. <333333333333
