So after much debate with myself, ive
decided to write a story for witty.I know im not witty famous, so i
will try not to worry about people not liking it (i just hope its
not because of any writing on my behalf)Also its not a very good
layout, but i cant be bothered with the theatrics.
Anyway its a love story (obviously) Between India- An amateur
clothes designer and the unaware Paul, with dashing black hair
and...Anyway i just wanted to know whether you guys might like to
read it.If I get at least five faves,i'll continue with my
story.Heres the preview>>
The cafe on the
highstreet wasa popular destination for a perfect blend of
drinks and buissnes, where tecchnology would sit proudly atop the
wooden tables and the scent of coffee would linger on the plush
leather settees in the small but welcoming air of
Starbucks.
Sitting in the corner, sipping unappreciatively at her almond
latte was the mildly famous designer India. Her only companion at
her table was her source of much pride (and sometimes where abuse
was thrown at) her laptop. Its sleek and formidable air was
broken by a tinny sound you'd expect to hear in a zoo, or
perhaps in a rainforest;a curious melody of a bullfrog
croaking. The srilankan looked around before answering her
phone.
A conversation and a half later, India set back her phone and
peered into her laptop. Her nervousness ebbed away, she began to
top at the soft keys, administering the progress of her latest
creations.
India had recently began her design carrer a while back, and now
she couldnt go to launches of new clothing lines without being
stopped once or twice for an autograph or two. If teen
vogue were to rite a short piece on her, it would probably
be as follows:
"A more
modern and refreshing designer
comes in the form of India Kumar , with her theatrical styles to
ergonomic evening wear,India is able to surpass t
he average designer if she played to her
strenghts"
India knew she
could capture the media's attention with her art-there
was no denying it.But she could never capture the quirky
Paul's heart with her personality."Now to pull out the
big guns"she dryly thought. If she couldnt sway him with
subtle nudging, she should try poking him with a red hot poker of
obviousness.
Anyway
this is what i wanna do.If you guys were kind enough to read it,
and show me you like more, i'd be greatful
plus i really need a title....
