The one thing I can't wait for when I grow up
is
when I have children so I can watch them grow up
so I can protect them
so I can inspire them
so I can push them the stand up for what they believe in
so I can teach them how to treat others
so I can teach them to follow their dreams
so I can teach them to understand they're beautiful
and that others are to
so I can read them stories at night
so I can teach them to stand up for who they love
to be a loyal friend, to know who a real friend is.
Not how my friend sees it:
She can't wait to have children so she can,
teach them to believe in the bible
teach them to go to mass every Sunday
teach them that every word in the bible is true
Just being honest
I will teach them to believe in God and to pray but if they
don't want to go to mass every Sunday because they want to go
outside and play with their friends they can.
I don't see eye to eye with her on the bible because
apparently love is one man-one woman IT'S NOT.
If I have a boy they can like boys
If I have a girl they can like girls
LOVE IS LOVE YOU CAN'T CHANGE THAT !
I will encourage my children to learn, not force them .
BUT MOSTLY
I'll teach them to be
themselves
