Today, August 8, 2012, is a day that I honestly thought would never come. In fact, I distinctly remember writing a letter to this day and telling it to go to hell. I didn’t want to be conscious during it because I knew the sentiment would perch on my chest like a crow and peck at my face, forcing me to remember exactly what this day meant to you and me.

But now that it’s here I’m glad. Circumstances changed for the better. I got the love of my life back and two years ago from today, you asked me to be your girlfriend. I have seldom been happier since.

I’ve fallen for you completely. I have given you my heart and I’ve never regretted it. Today marks two years. Two long, back breaking, mind blowing, awe inspiring, life changing years with the most amazing person I’ve ever met.
