~How I Survived
Famous~
Chapter 2
“Nicole, Nicole over here! Nicole!
Nicole!” shouted paparazzi as I posed on the
carpet.
Although I was already excited to be attending
an auction for charity, I became even more excited to see all the
other celebrities that have attended. “No sign of Medusa
yet?” I turned around to face Madison, and she looked
stunning! She was wearing an obviously Gabbana dress. “Not
yet,” I chuckled. A charity auction wasn’t where
Vanessa would hang out anyways. “Well, keep your fingers
crossed,” Madison said while messing with her left shoe,
“Darn these shoes! I can’t walk five feet without the
strap cutting in my ankle! I’ll meet you inside,” and
she starting limp-walking inside, tripped, and cursed Valentino
before going into the building.
I
giggled and I started walking towards the entrance, but a hand
tapped my shoulder before I could get away.
Oh
great, I thought, I do not need another
interview.
“Mrs. Iman, could I bother you for an
interview?” Here we go again. “Sure!” I
said, with a fake smile.
The
lady wore huge blue hoop earrings, a pearl necklace, and bright
red lipstick on a smile that looked like it belonged to the
Chesire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.
She
turned towards the camera and said, “I’m here with
glamour star and big time super model, Nicole Iman! So tell
me,” she asked, “Did you really shop lift the Los
Angeles mall?”
“Absolutely not!” I said defending
myself, “I paid for everything I walked out of the store
with!”
The interviewer started to ask another
question, but she was stopped by the sickest voice known to
man. “Too bad tabloids say differently, isn’t
it?” Venessa. “Yea. Its a wonder how the rumors
started,” I said with an obvious edge. She narrowed her
eyes at me.
“So, Nicole, who are you wearing
tonight?” the interviewer said, interrupting my
glare.
“Gucci,” I replied quickly,
“and Tiffany & Co accessories.” It was
true. I was wearing a Gucci red, strapless dress, accompanied by
a slim leather belt with horsebit detail, Valentino’s open
toe satin pump with bow, and gold Frank Gehry Torque Micro hoop
earrings, complete with the beautiful deep blue Jean Schlumberge
Dot Losange bracelet, both from Tiffany & Co. “And may
I say you do you look stunning! Thank you Nicole!” And with
that she trotted over to Kim Kardashian, trying to push her way
through other interviewers.
“So.” said someone behind
me.
I turned to face Vanessa. “You
didn’t shop lift? Hmm,” she said, admiring her
humungous and expensive looking ring, “Shocking. I’d
think you would so you could at least look like you should be on
the same runway as me.”
I narrowed my eyes. “I don’t
have time for you Vanessa.” “Fine,” she
uttered, annoyed,
“Its not like I would waste my time
talking to someone like you anyways.”
She flipped her hair, and strutted down
the carpet, thankfully away from me. With that, I cursed under my
breath, adjusted my earrings, and headed inside.
