I don’t understand it, not at all. Everyday, millions of people are bullied because of their appearance. 17 teenagers lose their lives to bullying everyday, simply because they can’t take it anymore. Just because they have a “lazy eye” or they’re “fat” or they’re “pimply”. Well it’s not fair. People can’t help the way they look, they were born that way. Fat is the worst thing to call someone. If you don’t know their background story, why give them that label? They could have a major eating disorder, or a low metabolism, which whatever they eat, will make them put on weight. Nobody can help the way they are these days. People even get bullied for the music they listen to. They get labelled “angry” if they listen to metal, or “weird” if they listen to something old or slow. What happened to individuality? Everything is so labelled these days. Maybe one day you decide to wear something that isn’t “in fashion” and BAM! There’s a whole bunch of abuse. Teenagers are always so judgemental. We all seem to think everything has to be perfect. We’re all trying to be like the supermodels or celebrities, because that has been labelled “perfect”. A tanned, flawless, size of a stick woman is perfect? I don’t see how. If we all looked like that, the world would be so boring. We’re all trying to be like someone else. Why don’t we just be the way we want to be? Why don’t we wear what we want? You know why? Because we’re all constantly getting judged. We’re getting judged for how we do our hair, what we wear, whether we wear make up or not, how we do our make up, if we’re tanned or not, our size and what we do for fun. We’re bullied because we may not look “normal” well you know what? Normal is boring. Do we all really want to be the same? No. But because we’re always judged, we can’t do anything about it. We live the way others want us to live. Otherwise we get bullied. It’s honestly disgusting. If maybe we all stopped being little judgemental f*ckheads, the world would be a better place, yeah? Well it sure as hell wont be as hard. Maybe a whole lot more teenagers will actually make it to adulthood, instead of bailing out at the age of 15 because it seems like the easy way out. Maybe we’ll have an influx of smart people, because there wont be the “nerd” label. Come on guys, get some individuality, it could save lives.
