Happy Ever Afters?
Chapter 10 Lilly’s P.O.V
“Ready?” I questioned Jake.
He looked surprised but quickly regained his posture, “yeh sure.”
I turned around and gave a quick wave to the rest of the guys.
It was only about a 500 metre walk form where we were on the beach to the house so it didn’t take long.
The trip was uneventful and silent until I pointed out my house.
“Really, well the one on the right of it is mine.” Jake replied pointing it out.
My jaw dropped it was even bigger than my house, “WOW, you must be loaded.” I muttered befor blushing realising he heard. “um I mean … cool?”
“Don’t worry about it both my parents are doctors.”  He laughed.
I smiled and laughed with him
“hey um, I don’t want to pry, but um, I sort of thought, well Matt said, that um,..” Jake stuttered when we under my balcony.
“… That I didn’t talk, yeh that’s what me and Matt had our little discussion about earlier.” I replied agitated.
 “Oh, well I didn't think that discussions involved punching but, ) but why are you talking to me any way than?” He asked obviously confused.
I thought about it for a minute, “hmm well, I suppose it was a combination of things to annoy Matt was one of them. He is so over protective and well I thought I could trust you, I mean I should try to make some friends. I explained. I've been silent for long enough.
“Fair enough.” Jake laughed.
“But you and Matt are the only ones I am talking to for the moment and I swear if you give me a single reason as to not trust you, I will bash you up and go silent again, ask Matt I’ve done both before.” I stated trying not to crack a smile.
“Righto, righto I wouldn’t want to get one your bad side.” Jake smiled an adorable grin.
“You are correct on that.” I said before laughing.
We talked for a while longer about Jake’s family, he had an older brother and younger twin brother and sister before Matt said, “Well it’s starting to get dark so I suppose I will see you tomorrow, seen as we are going to the same school.”
“Ok cool I will see you tomorrow then.” I smiled and began to climb the tree
to my balcony. I waved to Jake one last time and went to bed thinking about today.
