Satan was an Angel, Angels aren't supposed to sin and its easy for them not to. So since Satan was greedy and wanted to take over God he went passed forgivness. And since Angels can't be forgiven once they've sinned its kinda pointless.
But I totally get what you're saying! I used to ask to pray for Satan alll the time at church and I'd get weird looks. :)
