Chapter 1
"No!"
I screamed as I ran into the bathroom for the 5th time today. I
looked into the mirror and saw an ugly 15 yearold girl staring
back at me. I tried to stop the tears and fix my smearing makeup.
Little miss popular has found a way to ruin my day yet again.
Just as I attempted to fix my makeup, Kelly barges in with her
two idiotic followers, Emma and Rosie. They stare into the mirror
and put on more pounds of makeup. They eventually notice me, and
continue to harass me. I finish up my lip gloss and walk out of
there. I didn't get to far until I relized I had left my
makeup bag there. I dash back through the halls, trying to avoid
all the people. Once I finally get there, I find the popular trio
giggling and walking out of the bathroom. I run in, and find my
leopard print bag drowning in toliet water. Tears fill my eyes.
That was the last gift my mother had gave me, besides the
necklace I was wearing. I quickly grabbed the submerged bag and
wrapped it in paper towels. Not before long, the towels were
sopping wet. I ran down the halls to my locker and shoved it in
my bag. The leopard print bag reeked of a sewer stench, and I
dearly hoped it did not trail behind me. A ringing sound filled
my ears. I had survived another day in this prision. But home was
not all that great either. Auntie Tracy was nice and all, but my
wicked cousins made it a terrible expierience. They make jokes
about my late parents 24/7, but my aunt never catches them.
If I could only get lucky.
