On September 11, 2001 Rick Rescorla was
supposed to be on vacation ... Instead, he was filling in so one of
his deputies could go on vacation.
He never left the South twin tower, instead he kept helping
coworkers and strangers evacuate when the planes hit.
In the end, he saved 2,700 people.
Rick never made it out of the building, and they never found his
body,
but he died a hero.
Would you EVER be able to do that? Sacrifice yourself, for
others?
