Unlucky...
Off school for 2 to 3 weeks becuase of Anemia... Was rushed to hospital on the 4th of July... Hang on, isn't that day supposed to be lucky? :/ If you want the full story, just ask, and I will write something in my blog, or album. At the moment I only have 2 litres of blood in my body, a adverage person my age is supposed to have about 5... I lost up to 3 litres of blood, just from my throat. A vein was on show at the back of my throat, and it split. It bled once at home, and then a huge one in the hospital, leading me to another 50 minute operation to cortorise and stich up the bit on show. The nurses said the 1st bleed only happens once in 300 people who have their tonsils out, and the second bleed is like once in 500 - 700, so yeah... My mums friend is a GP, and they know this story where a little girl bled, after a tonsilectomy, and her mother thought nothing of it, and took her to the hospital on a bus. By the time they got to the hospital, she was dead... So it has happend to people, and they have died, so I just find myself fortunate that my mums friend was coming through the door at the time, and i was taken to hospital quick enough. When I tell people about it, I'm not sure they get how I could be dead now and that it is really serious. I am off school for a while now, and i may even miss the last time in my primary school to see people before I go to High School, like Lottie for example. At the moment I am incredibley weak, and get out of breath just by walking up the stairs. I am very pale and the circles around my eyes are like huge fricking black elephants. I do look dead :L. The fact is, I was Anemic before I lost all that blood, but only by a little bit, and those people who know me, I had dark circles and pale skin before the blood loss, so losing even more isnt so good... To top it all off, my throat is sore alot and I have lods of pain killers to take every 3 hours, like Codene and Ibuprofen. I also have iron tablets and Amoxacillin, to stop the infection. I am pretty sure that i will always remember that because It left a big effect afterwards... Over to the good news, I have no more tonsils, which means no more tonsilitus!!
