I lay there basking in the sunlight;

The sun is smiling at me so bright;

He kisses me with warmth and fills my body with tingles

I feel the rays wrapping around my body

Leaving me with the slightest curiosity 

How do you shine so bright and bring warmth into me

How are you so righteous and powerful.

He is taken away from me, I watch him slowly set

He disappears for awhile but I know he will be back 

The cold and lonliness takes over my body for the night

Until I wake in the morning and greet the rising star.

He is so beautiful and mighty

It leaves me breathless

Wondering what's on the mind of Mr. Sun.
