Amethyst, ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamond, pearl, zircon, bloodstone, garnet, peridot, citrine, opal. Gems such as these have been coveted by man for eras. However, only few have discovered how to use these gems; well, at least in the way they were originally intended to be used. In a place called Italia, twelve wise men convened over a presiding of these gems, and performed “holy” miracles using the power of gems. Hounded by greed and suspicion, the elders stole away into secluded glens and forbidding mountains, gaining disciples through whispers of magic and power circulating across the whole of Europe.

These twelves Shamans created the twelve clans of ancient lore.

Pearl bearers gained powers of stealth and secrecy, and even gained the power to bend light to their will, and vanish entirely.

Sapphire bearers gained the power of water, to spawn both life and death with waves of power at their command.

Ruby holders gained the power to control fire, their tempers as heated and fervid as the infernos at their fingertips.

Amethyst wielders gained the power of mysticism, to gain access to the minds of men, and break them from the inside by unleashing their darkest fears to plague them for all eternity.

Emerald users gained the ability to call nature itself to their aid, controlling all plant life, from the humble daisy to mighty sentinels of the forest.

Diamond bearers gained both immense inner and outer strength, generating some of the mightiest and fearsome warriors ever to stride upon Earth.

Zircon users had the element of wind at their command, causing fear and destruction with massive tornadoes and cyclones.

Bloodstone bearers harnessed the gift of immortality, and instant regeneration upon injury. However, this didn’t save all that embraced this stone’s power from the icy clutches of Death...

Garnet wielders gained the power of the Earth itself, carving the landscape at their will and trapping many foes under tons of rock and dirt.

Disciples of the peridot could control any animal it encountered, calling great beasts to aid in battle and tiny insects as eyes and ears in the struggle against the other clans.

Citrine users could harness the power of lightning to their needs. Many a foe has been struck down by a swift 20,000 volts of electricity before realizing what had ended them.

Opal bearers gained the ability to nearly bend time and space about them as they sprint to or away from danger at scorching speeds.
