The Luckiest
Girl
For the past few weeks, he was looking ill,
didn't move NO! he just stood still.
We took him to the vet,
they said they couldn't fix him,
unfortunately,
not even enough to give him one more pet.
So one peaceful night,
I was panting my nails.
As mommy carried him
while she walked down the stairs.
A few mintes later,
with tears in her eyes,
she said in great sadness:
"that's it, he died".
He really was the best dog in the world.
He made me feel like the luckiest girl.
We will never find one as great as he,
and I've said it a million times,
and I'll say it again.
