ch.1 Brittney's P.O.V
I was ready for my Senior prom. My
hair was naturally curly, disasterously curly, so I straightened
it. It curled at the ends and I growled. I was wearing a strapless
crimson-pinkish dress with black lace around the stomach. It had a
black ribbon around the lace.
I stared at myself in the mirror. Gorgeous, I smiled. I put my feet
into my heels and buckled the straps. I walked downstairs after
applying lipstick.
My mom was sitting down on the couch when she saw me. "Oh
my," she said, tearing up. "you look gorgeous,
Britt."
"Thanks, Mom," I blushed.
I sat down and waited for my date, Ash.
......
I waited for over two hours. I got up. I walked out the door, tears
forming in my eyes. I walked down the street on the side walk for a
while then I gave up. I tackled my shoes and threw them off. My
make up was now running.
"Dammit, Ash!" I screamed, and fell to the concrete
sidewalk. I scraped my knees and they were bleeding.
I looked up to the sky and it was getting dark so, I attempted to
get up and walked a little.
I got up to a small ramen shop called Ruki's and I got stopped
by a tall asian guy.
"Uh, Sorry," he said blocking the entrance. "You
need shoes to enter."
I cursed under my breath. "Oh, come on!" I yelled.
"I just got stood up for Prom!" He shook his head.
"I've been walking for almost a mile in heels, I threw
them off and I scraped my f*cking knees.. Let me just eat
something, PLEASE."
"Sorry, no excuses," he said, walking away.
I stormed off into town. I was running and crying and I closed my
eyes. I slipped and fell.
My dress ripped and I sighed in frustration.
I heard a vehicle's engine stop at the sound of an accented
voice. "Stop!!"
