One Way Street

Chapter 2                                                         Hevens Pov

"Um...she dumped me. For Alec"
Koby murmurred the last part. Not again, I thought.
"Koby Im so sorry. She doesnt deserve you. Why do you keep
running back to her?" He took a moment to think.
"I dont know. She just...finds
ways to manipulate me in to believing
she wont hurt me again" He doesnt look at me.
We are almost at my school, the
silence still in the air, when
he says, "Now, who are you trying to impress today?"
he asks.
"What?" "You look beautiful today. Not that you
dont everyday but today...you stand out." He smiled
at me, causing the butterflies
in my stomach to flutter. "No one" I say, simply.
"I see. Well, whoever sees you today is going to fall for you
so remember to smile" He winks at me as he
pulls into the school. I grab my bag and hop out.
I walk over to my group of friends.
We weren't the 'popular'
group, but everyone knew us.
"Someones looking hot today" my best friend, Claire,
says. She hugs me, then goes back
to kissing her boyfriend, Nick.
Kelvin and I talked for a while. Everyone
knew he liked me.
I turned and saw Danielle walking down
the hall with Erik.
They were holding hands. FINALLY they got
together! The bell rang
and our group walked to first
period. Claire and Nick, Danielle and Erik, Kelvin, and
I. Even though Kelvin and i weren't
the closest people, I didnt want to ruin
our friendship. It
took me over a year to be friends
with Koby again. I didnt want to think of that right
now, so I doodled in my notebook.
Just as I was about
to fade into my daydreams,
a note landed on my desk.

Sorry its kind of boring right now! It will get better.
