Girl
Chapter 1
Everybody stared as I walked down
the hallway. I was the new girl in school, and everyone
apparently knew my story. My mom died in a car accident. I've
had 3 people come up and ask if it was true she died from drug
overdose. It's my first day, how have rumors already started?
I simply said no, then they asked if I was single. So I gave 2 of
them my number, the one I didn't give it to tried to grab my
a** so I said no. I walked into the class, I got dirty
stares by the "popular" girls, so I politely sat in the
back. History class was easy, and so were all of the other
classes. I walked home from school, it was around a 15
minute walk. No one bothered me on the way home. I lived in the
"rich" neighborhood, so I got snickered at when I
turned down my street. I had been living in that house for about
a week now. I walked in, and of course my dad was at work.
He always was, thats why my brother is always in some sort of
trouble I guess. But my brother was 19 and he stayed in Arizona
with his girlfriend. But no doubt he will be calling because of
money or jail issues. My dad was a lawyer, so my brother kind of
emarrased him. My mom put up with it though, she put up with both
of us. Me, always out shopping and wasting money and my brother
in jail atleast once every 2 months. The next day, I had someone
come up to me and ask if it was true that my brother was in jail
for robbing a bank, I asked where they heard that and she said
she saw it on the news, and he had the same last name as me. I
hoped it wasnt him. For the rest of the day classes were normal,
except for math. A stupid jock passed me a note asking if I was
single or a virgin. I tore up the note and threw it out. I'm
single and 16, can't he do the math? I hoped I would make new
friends soon, I missed home.
