He replied within five seconds saying:

"Hey. What's your name? I never got the chance to ask."

"It's Katie"

"That's a cute name. Wanna maybe go out sometime. With me?"

Austin Mahone just asked me out. I think I'm gonna die. Of course I'm gonna say yes.

"Sure(:" I replied, trying not to sound so excited.

"Awesome. How does 7:30 tonight sound?"

"Sounds great. I'll see you then. (:" I said and sent him my address with it.

I showed Kristine all the texts. We freaked out a little, then we went upstairs and started getting me ready. First I showered, because it was really hot outside. Then I put my outfit on so that when I do my hair putting on the outfit doesn't mess it up. It took me forever to pick an outfit, but I decided on this: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=49979835

I put some mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. I never wear cover up because I have no acne, and it's great. Just then I got a text from Austin.

"Oh, and incase you're wondering, I was thinking a fancy restaurant and just so you know, I'm on my way"

"Okay(:" I replied. 

My outfit would be okay, thankfully. It was 6:45 right now so I got my purse and sat on the porch with Kristine and waited. After a little while, he still hadn't showed up. It had been two hours now and he still hadn't showed up. Kristine called Alex and put it on speaker phone. She was having a normal conversation with him, and we could clearly hear Austin in the background.

I got my hopes up for nothing. Absolutely nothing. I should've known it was too good to be true. I took out my phone and called Austin. He didn't answer, so I left a message, saying how I felt nicely as possible.

"Hey, Austin. Um. I was really expecting you to show up and I was really happy that my favorite boy in the world had asked me out. If you didn't want to go, or if you like changed your mind and wanted to hang out with Alex that's cool. I wouldn't have minded, but you could've told me. And then you didn't answer your phone. So I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow. Maybe. Bye." My voice cracked on a few words. I got up from the swing on my porch and went inside I ran upstairs, with Kristine following not far behind me. I slammed the door in her face, kicked off my shoes, and laid down on my bed, crying into my pillow. It’s not like he even had a good reason not to show up. He was hanging out with Alex. I could clearly hear him in the background talking. I thought he was better than this. I actually was happy. Thinking I was good enough for Austin Mahone. I’m so stupid.

I'll probably post the next chapter later today, because I have my exams today, and I get out two hours early.
