You walk alone on the path that leads
nothing,
With a heavy heart weighing you
down.
Rain falling from the sky masking your fresh
tears.
Heart and spirit breaking with every
step.
Alone with no one to hear you
scream.
Your reason for living lone
gone.
Once you realize,
You fall apart all over again.
Fresh tear stained cheeks.
Nightmares every night seem to never
end.
You wake up screaming in a cold
sweat.
A
feeling that’s unshakeable.
Alone and cold in a heartless
world.
Seeing everything pass by in a
blur.
Feeling all the wounds that have been
inflicted.
No
one cares.
You’re alone as always.
Trying to pick up the shattered
pieces.
The dust stirring with every
move.
You find the dust slips through your
fingers.
