"How I survived Boarding School" Chapter 1 Part II Sandy's POV
Sandy Riiiinnng ! There goes my stupid alarm clock. I punched it of
my table. Crack. Then there it goes, broken. I would care less. I
got up from my bed, and went to the bathroom. I stared at the
mirror. Damn, first day already? I thought. I hate school. It’s
depressing. I washed my face. I went out of my room and passed the
hairbrush. I never brush my hair. Usually, I don’t even care on
what I look like. I came to my dresser and opened it. I threw on
the uniform. The white t-shirt, and the ugly grey pants. Let me
tell you about myself. My name is Sandra Acoustic. I go by the name
Sandy though. Sandra is to girly. I’ll start with my personality.
I’m creative, and crazy. Those are good things. I’m mostly
bitter and cold. I can be social, but I just hate people. I
criticize a lot. Even though, I’m really trustable, I never break
a promise and I don’t Lie. I do lie, but when it comes to
something important I cant. One of my talents is Eating, Sleeping
and texting, and studies. I also have another one and I’m not
telling you. I’m labeled as a tomboy. You’ll see me around
wearing not so girly things. I went to go downstairs. I slid down
the stairs. I met up with my siblings at the kitchen table. Let me
tell you about my family. I used to live in Garden Grove CA, and
then moved to Seattle because my mom wanted to move back to her
hometown. I live with My mom, Younger brother and sister. My
Younger Sister, Nichole is in the seventh grade. She’s much more
different than me. Let’s say opposite. Nichole is sophisticated.
She is mean but in a different way. Then I have a brother in fourth
grade. His name is Ron. Ron is shy around my mom but he’s
outgoing, and really funny. I went walked over to the calendar. It
was exactly 3 months since I have been in Seattle. I really miss
California though. All my friends were there, family, and
everything I can possibly imagine. I hadn’t made any friends in
here yet, I have a lot of neighbors though. I just never bothered
myself to actually start an interesting conversation with any of
them. Well I do sometimes hang out with my next door neighbors who
are from around here. The thing is they aren’t even my age. They
are just to childish for me. My mom skied down the stairs. We were
still eating our cereals in silence. I had finished mine, and was
twirling my spoon around the empty bowl. “Eat. Then get in t
Car.” My mom demands me. Nichole and Ron are very slow eaters.
Nichole was sipping the lasts her milk in the bowl. Ron had a few
chunks to go. I examine them eating. They are seriously slow
eaters. Nichole put her bowl down, and wiped her mouth with the
tissue. “Finished. Sandy you have some milk on your upper lip.”
She states. I wipe it off with my sleeve. Then Ron the last one is
still sipping the lasts of the milk. He then banged the bowl onto
the table. “DONE!” He shouts. “Careful, Careful, You are
going to break the table.” My mom says sarcastically. We all
grabbed our suitcases and followed behind my mom in a line as she
takes us to the car. She starts it. Nichole claps her hands happily
to go. Ron just plays with his Gameboy and I just lean my head to
the window, attempting to sleep. “Ready?” My mom asks.
“Yes.” We all said in slow motion at the same time. It took us
about five minutes to get there. I neighbor the school. My mom
finds a place to park. It’s a huge traffic in the little parking
lot they put down. O.K I admit, it’s not a small parking lot,
it’s actually big. The thing is it’s really small for a school
with about one thousand students. She found the spot and parks. We
all get down. My mom pulls down the window. “Have a good
semester, get good grades, control your behavior, and don’t annoy
me.” She says. “Bye Mother, and I won’t” says Nichole.
“Fine, I’ll miss you.” My mom replies. Nichole walks eagerly
to the entrance gate. “Bye Mommy, I will miss you.” Ron says
blowing kisses. My mom smiles. “Bye. I will miss you to.” Then
finally me. “Goodbye Mother.” I say dramatically. “Stop that,
I’ll miss you too.” She rolled up the window, I backed away and
She left. I walked into the entrance and saw practically millions
of kids In grey and white. I looked for the Admin building to get
my schedule, room key, and information. I walked into a line it was
divided in two. New students and Past Students. For the New
students was awfully big. Thank god it was divided in two. We first
got our numbers and wait to sit down until they call us. The line
got smaller and I made it. “Hi! I am Miss.Julian, Name please?”
I hesitated making sure not to say Sandy. “Sandra Acoustic.”
She went through filed and ripped out a strip of paper. “Here you
go, please wait in the waiting room in front of the Admission
office.” She smiles. I nod and take the slip. My number red 1124.
I take a seat. Then I wait.
