34
The next day we're allowed to
go home. Sam's mom and my mom come over to see Mason and
Taylor, and we catch up from not being together in a while.
We find out that Annie lives right down the street from us, and
she becomes a close family friend.
Her husband passed away shortly after out conversation, and she
came over and we comforted her. Bree starts calling her Nana.
Charlie and Matt come over.
They're getting married in a few months, and I'm the maid
of honor and Sam's the best man.
Charlie squeals and takes Mason from my arms.
"He's gonna be a hunk and get all the girls when he
grows up!" she informs me.
"Hopefully that won't get to his head!" mom
laughs.
"And Taylor will be a smokin chick who gets all the
guys!" Matt chuckles, knowing Sam will get annoyed.
"Not if she wants to live!" he snaps.
I laugh and Bree tugs on my shirt. I kneel down and she puts her
mouth to my ear.
"Do you love Daddy a lot Mama?" she whispers.
I put my mouth to her ear and whisper "Yes, I do."
"Does he love you?"
"I think so."
"Well I think he does, because he always kisses you!
Bleh!"
I laugh. "That's what Mommies and Daddies do
honey"
"Oh okay!" she whispers and runs to Charlie and hugs
her.
"Auntie Chacha!" she squeals.
I laugh again and walk over to Matt and sit next to him on the
couch.
"What'd Bree ask you?" he asks.
"She asked if I loved Sam, and asked if he loved me." I
reply.
"He does, you know. He always tells me." he informs
me.
I look up at him and I can tell he's serious.
I rest my head on his shoulder and watch everyone. I smile and
think about my life. It's perfect.

Everyone leaves, and we put the kids to bed.
Sam takes my hand and leads me up to bed.
"Bree's right." he mumbles.
"About what?"
"I do love you. So much. You're my whole world. I
don't know what'd I'd do without you. I'm so glad
you came into my life. I wish I could've come into your
differently, but maybe if I had, we wouldn't be where we are
now. I love you Ariana Johnson, with all my heart." he
whispers.
I blush like crazy.
"And I love you Samuel Johnson. So much. You're my
world. I couldn't live without you. I'm so glad you came
into my life, and I wouldn't change how. I remember every day
with you, being in your arms is all I need. I love you with all
my heart." I whisper back.
He laughs and takes my face in his hands.
"So, let's do it?" he whispers.
"Yes. But, one thing first. Promise me you'll never
leave me, ever." I whisper.
"I promise. No matter what." he promises, sealing it
with a kiss.
