The Perfect Family; Chapter
31
In the morning I wake up with my
arm hurting like hell.
I get dressed in a white shirt that said Stop Making Sense, white
capris, black Toms and a black hoodie.
We went to Charlie's house and Matt is there. We talk about
what happened to Nick, then we go to Culvers and get
icecream.
Matt sees me getting sweaty. "Ari, why don't you take
off your sweatshirt? It's like a million degrees out
here!" he suggests.
I shake my head. "I'm okay." I tell him. He sticks
his tongue out at me and runs over to me and forces my sweatshirt
over my head, revealing my gauzed up arm.
"W-what happened?" Matt whispers. I look over at
Charlie and her face sinks, knowing what I've done.
Sam takes Matt by the car and tells him as I stuff my arms and
head back into my sweatshirt.
"Ari, you can't start this again." Charlie scolds
me.
"Sam threw it away. I won't." I whisper.
She nods as the guys come back and we go back to talking.
After a while, we go back home and Sam takes me to the movies and
we see The Hunger Games. I cry when Rue dies, and I cheer when
they win the Games.
We drive home and fall onto the bed, and fall asleep right
away.
