The Perfect Family; Chapter
26
*one week later*
It's about 90 degrees outside, so Sam, Bree, Charlie, Matt,
Nick and I all meet at our house to go to the beach.
I slip into a black bikini, sandals with a black flower on it,
and a black cover up, and Charlie puts on a blue bikini, blue
flip flops, and a turquoise cover up. Sam has black trunks,
Matt has blue trunks, and Nick has white trunks.
Nick gets in the front of his pickup and we all hop in the back.
Sam plays his iPod and we all scream along to the music. We are
all laughing a lot when we get to the beach.
Charlie and I lay our towels in the sand and put on sunglass and
tan, white Sam, Nick and Matt jump off the pier. Charlie and I
are talking to eachother with our eyes closed, when I feel two
pairs of hands grab me and pick me up. I open my eyes to see Sam
holding up my arms and Nick my feet.
"SAMUEL JOHNSON YOU BETTER NOT LET ME TOUCH THAT WATER OR I
SWEAR I'LL--" I scream as they throw me in the icy cold
water. I surface my head to see Matt and Sam getting Charlie and
she's screaming too. Her hitting the water splashes me and I
laugh as Sam, Nick and Matt jump in.
Charlie and I chase after them, dunking them underwater and
smacking their shoulders, when I fall, and feel a pair of strong
hands catch me.
I look up to see Nick, staring into my eyes, and before I know
it, I feel his lips crashing onto mine.
