Chapter 41

Emma's POV 
I began to shake but still frozen. Everything else seems to disappear around me.
I stared at his pained eyes. Hurt was written all over his face. I had never seen him like this before. And for a fact, it's all because of me.
He opened his mouth to say something, but quickly closed it. He repeated the same process but failed. I feel sorry. His voice seemed lost. Austin loved me, but I didn't.
A teardrop escaped his eye but he quickly wiped it away.
He doesn't show how weak and vulnerable he is, but now he did.
I hesitated. "I'm-m sor-ry, I should-d've told you um before," I stutter biting my lip.
Should I be sorry for him? Should I feel something for him?
He began to shake his head. He placed both of his hands over his head. "NOO!"
I jumped back startled. His eyes furious. "This can't be true!" He yelled.
I stumbled back holding back the tears. He's not worth it. His not worth the tears.
"YOU'RE LYING!" he screamed at me.
Then I felt the tears roll down my face. I'm so stupid, I should've told him earlier.
If I told Drew, I wouldn't be in this mess. I mentally slapped my forehead.
I shake my head backing away. I need to get out of here. I need air.
I can't be in the same room with him anymore. I might as well leave.
"Please tell me you're lying," his voice soft, yet filled with anger in voice, stopping me.
"I'm not," I managed to say backing away.
Just then I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I felt sparks fly everywhere.
And at the moment I knew who it was.
I slightly turned to him. He was glaring at Austin, anger filled his eyes.
He must've seen what happened. Then I felt scared for me, for him.
What's he going to do?
His arms tightly gripped around my waist pulling me closer to his chest.
"Drew." He snapped to face me, his face softening. He smiled and pecked my cheeks.
"Don't you dare kiss her! She's my girlfriend for godsakes!"
I looked over at Austin stepping towards us. His jaw clenched.
"What if I do?" Drew challenged with a smirk on his face. Oh boy.
And hell broke loose.
