The Perfect Family; Chapter
25
"Hey
baby!" Sam yells and pulls me into a tight hug.
I smile. Everything will be fine Ari. I take a shaky
breath.
"Ari hun, what's wrong?" he asks.
"Sit down..." I instruct him.
"Long story short,
CharlieandIwenttothemallandafterafewhoursIthrewupandshegotsomepregnancytestsandtheywereallpostitive."
I say quickly, sucking in a breath afterwards.
"Okay, Ari, slow down." he mutters.
"I'm pregnant." I whisper.
"You-you're pregnant? From me?" he whispers.
I nod.
"I-if you don't want to keep him, I-I'll ab-abort
him..." I tell him softly.
"Ari, we're not aborting this baby." he says
rolling his eyes.
"Cmon, let's tell Bree! She'll be so excited!"
he yells, grabbing his keys, since Bree is at his Mom's.
I laugh and follow him to the car.
"Got any ideas for names?" he asks.
I shake my head. "No, but we have plenty of time!" I
laugh.
We pull into his Mom's driveway, and my Mom is at her house
too. Yay, killing two birds with one stone. Actually, 3.
We run inside and pound on the door, and we hear people running
around inside and his Mom peeks through the curtains. Her face
softens when she sees it's us.
"Sam, Ari, you almost gave us heart attacks!" she
screams and pulls us inside.
"Get Bree and my Mom, we have news!" I excitedly inform
her.
She gets both of them and then we all sit on the couch. I tell
them the story, ending with "I'm pregnant!"
Bree squeals and runs to me and jumps on me.
Our Mom's beam and hug both of us.
"Yay! I'm gonna have a little brother or sister!"
Bree cries and I see a tear slide down Mom's face as she
grins.
