Haunting Secrets
Chapter 2 Part 2

Ugh I was so worried that I would have to move away again, my last school was horrible. Rumors there spread like wildfire, as soon as one person knows your secret, it is there to haunt you! It never goes away. You think oh something else will come along and everyone will forget, nope. Not at my school anyway. It got so bad my mom had to transfer me to Missouri Public School, and now I live with my Aunt Jen and Uncle Greg. Wow what a change, going from California with beaches and bikinis to Missouri with hicks and shotguns.
 

“Wait how does he know Jake, Jake was in California at that time?” she asked with a really stumped look on her face. Not an unusual sight for me.


See just recently Jake moved a town away from here to live with his grandparents. His family died in a car accident. How convenient right. I moved away, and them he follows me here? I am never going to run away from this!
 

“Logan said they worked together this summer. Do you think they would have talked about what happened down there? What if my secret comes out down here and I have to move again? What will I do without you?”

“Don’t jump to conclusions who knows if you and this guy will ever talk again. You don’t even know if he knows about you and Jake. Who knows him and Jake maybe weren’t even close.” she said with optimism trying to comfort me.

Little did I know she was totally wrong.
