Alright, so i spent the whole summer falling in love with my best guy friend.  We spent days at a time together just doing different things.  When homecoming came around, I was going to be away for a cheer competition, i told him he could ask someone else and i wouldnt mind.  The next week i left for ireland. I came back and he was in a relationship with my friend- the one he went to homecoming with.

he hadn't talked to me in 4 months, until tonight when he said he was sorry, and that he missed me.

I told him it was okay, that i missed him too, but that I wanted to stay how we were now-not talking- because he didnt respond to my texts that held our inside jokes.  He didnt comfort me when i needed it.  He stopped being there for me.
and i couldnt take it.

I learned to live without him, and now hes just a decent memory.
