My Big Fat Rushed
Wedding
Chapter 1
"Oh,
no. No no no!" Bai yelled. "This is ALL wrong, McKenna." I
scrambled to get my dress zipped quicker. "Bai! I'm hurrying.
What's 'all wrong'? I thought everything looked perfect!" I could
hear her rearranging everything all the way down the hall in my
dressing room. I could even hear Bai mumble to herself about how
horrible the wedding photos were going to turn out. I slipped
into my heels and tiptoed into the ballroom. "There you are, I
need you to--" She stopped and tears filled her eyes, "OH!
McKenna, you look splendid! Aw, what a darling!" I sat down in a
chair and finished putting on my heels. "Yeah, well. I don't feel
splendid." Bai quit fiddling with the curtains and came over to
me. "My heavens, what do you mean you don't feel splendid? Hon,
just because your marrying someone who doesn't exactly love you
the way you love him should not stop you from showing your
incredible smile!" This only made me frown more. "Now, you are
aware that this isn't the real photoshoot, yes? It's just to see
how the dress will resemble in the photo albums that will be
given as gifts to close friends and family. But we must do it
fast, I'm afraid, the engagement party is in five hours. So,
let's get started!" She clicked off in the other direction and I
stayed put in my chair. I just didn't want to have a wedding
anymore. Kris and I had agreed we would wait a few years, but
once his mother found out, she was rushing us to get to the alter
so I could give birth to her grandchildren. Which is extremely
odd, seeing that I'm not even pregnant, yet. "Bai, I don't want
to take these pictures. Please, I'm begging you. Give me three
more days and I'll be ready. I swear it!" Bai must've been in the
other room because I didn't hear a reply. "I'll take that as a
yes," I said to myself. I threw off my uncomfortable, five inch,
heels and started unzipping my gown.
Shall
I continue? :3
