I see those scars on her arm,
i ask her if they do any harm.
She says, with a sigh, it's no big deal,
it relieves the pain she has to feel.
As i watch her do this every night,
i see what she goes through, her terrible fright.
She has no friends, no fun, no life,
besides this sharp, bloody knife.
those scars, those cuts, those pictures that she makes,
are her biggest, her number one, her worst mistake.
